Found this leasing deal for a brand new Kia Sportage.

£200pm
24months
NO deposit
8000 miles

£200x24m = £4,800 total (+£360 admin fee)

Seems much cheaper that other lease cars in similar categories.

Was looking at buying a Sportage new, but sure the 2yr depreciation would be similar to the amount it would cost to lease?

Have seen better lease deals in the past, but this seems best at present.

Can also get 10,000 miles for £211pm (£5,064 total).

In fairness to the OP, your 1st link needs a £1300 deposit and is based on 5k miles pa. Im not sure its fair to make a direct comparison.

OK so the first payment (£1,398.91) includes the first month? Not much in it as this one has no deposit down

Yeah so the difference is, save £100 if you put down a £1400 deposit. I would do that but for someone without the £1400 this one is a good deal

Mathematics seems to be a difficulty for you. But if you prefer to pay £168 extra for the same car over the same term with the same mileage conditions, then as I said, please do go ahead. I'm sure you'd like £168 of petrol chucked in, no?

The OP has not done his homework and to say it is one of the best is simply incorrect.

The milage allowance is just to low.

Just beat me to it alu355 pay £100 extra over 2years or pay a high deposit which could potentially ve lost if car is stolen/written off in that time frame (always get GAP insurance when you lease)

You still have to pay the money throughout the whole term. So for those who can, the two of many that exist is "better" as it's cheaper, surely?

If you have a large deposit then yes, I'm sure you can find a better deal elsewhere.

Personally I was looking for a deal with low/no deposit and I haven't seen anything better value than this.

Are you suggesting that because you didn't/wouldn't pay a deposit, you wouldn't have an accident/have it stolen? Because if you are, your very next sentence contradicts such statement as you suggest to always get GAP insurance, so it would be irrelevant anyhow.

Even the 3+23 deal by the same leaser is "better value". That's a low deposit no?

Funny that this is hot.... Yet when it was £176 a month from same company 4 months ago, it was -190 cold... Thankfully I ignored that and got it for my wife when it was much cheaper. Got them to delay delivery, so it came 3 weeks ago. As my wife's Focus didn't go back till then.

It's a great car in my opinion and, great value (although more so 4 months ago)

We had our 2nd child 2 months ago, it's a far better car for my wife than the Focus although accelerate is a bit poor. Also handy have a car with that much room when rear seats are folded back, gives us another option for transporting stuff when needed as I have an Audi A4.

32.8 mpg isn't fantastic though, is it?

Thanks, that's good to know, we also have young children which is why we are looking to upsize to a Sportage.

I know there are better cars out there, but this one seems good value and suits us with no deposit.

Depends what you're buying it for.

My wife's work is 2 miles away, it's simply a run around vehicle for the most part. Occasion longer family journeys. She did 6000-7000 miles in 2 years on her Focus.

Her Focus would be more fuel efficient though...if you need more space then one could argue to get a Focus C-Max or equivalent, no?

It was £176 a month with no deposit. Very rarely ever see a car of this size at that price, it's even rare at £200.

Plus already told you, fuel efficiency isn't a big deal as it's a run around car. The difference is negligible.

Plus I'd never get a C-Max, in my opinion a horrible looking car.

It's been on for far cheaper than £176/net/month with 10k miles. There's been at least a dozen Sportage deals on HUKD in the past twelve months.

Are you mad paying so much for a Kia cheap plastic car!

Need a car in March, this one seems like the best deal at the moment for the sort of car I'm after (largish 5 seater family car). At £200 a month or so it's still a good deal.
