Cheapest out there at the moment
the controllers body shape looks extremely similar to the old Playstation 3 PS Move controllers, I wonder if they had a load of spare move controller shells and decided to re purpose them for this.

I'm sure it would be better than awful touch screen controls for action games but I think the all in one approach of the Wiki pad where the tablet locks into the controller looks (and probably feels) a lot better...
"1200x800"

So close.
Those controls look terrible . the keys need to be above the right hand joy stick too. Any game that requires both thumbsticks would be practically unplayable
This looks incredible for the money. I imagine there's a keyboard case for it as well so it could double up as a work machine for the commute. Just wish they'd see their way clear to squeeze 64Gb into these things.

I don't recall the Wii U tablet to be unplayable.
I'm curious on this tablet. Shame it's ruined by the res. But if the tablet can play steam games fairly well (30fps locked) at that res. I wouldn't complain, Considering its a tablet.
So can it play any game without streaming from my PC always? So if I downloaded steam on the tablet and installed Lets say: cod 4 it would work fine or what? (Sorry if stupid question)

No, it's nowhere near powerful enough.

It's definitely Cherry Trail as it's mentioned on the official Linx website and on their Facebook page - on ebuyer it says "Quad core Cherry Trail z8300 2GHz", Expansys states "Intel Atom x5-Z8300", Overclockers "Cherry Trail T3", Amazon "Atom x5-Z8300".

No, it's nowhere near powerful enough.

Okay. Able to just download steam games normally on the tablet and not just stream them?
so how does it stream pc games? can any Windows 10 tablet do this? I just picked up the Tesco Connect and streaming Xbox one is brilliant!

Suppose I just like gadgets I'm looking for a tablet/keyboard hybrid for my niece's Xmas on behalf of sis. And I'm hovering over updating my Linx 10 (though I think I'll wait a while)

Sorry, getting a little confused from your earlier question.
Its not powerful enough to play COD if you install it to the tablet.
It is powerful enough to stream it from another PC.
Got one of these last night, well worth the money streaming games from both pc or Xbox works great and the controller isn't problematic I played halo and had no problem reaching buttons. Also just using it browse the web and watch YouTube ect is excellent stays much cooler than my old linx 10.

Not sure if I just didn't see this last night, but the Amazon listing says "•With expandable memory the Linx Vision offers you the chance to add up to 128Gb extra memory through a micro-SD card". Bit confusing!

Tom1988, where did you get yours from? Seems most places are pre-order at the moment?

Edit: Actually, I can see on the linxtabletforum today linxtablet.co.uk/vie…=20 that dazzab73 says: "I can confirm micro sd cards bigger than 32gb are fine. I put in my 128gb san disk card and it recognised it without any issues."

Steam has in-home streaming caked in - install on both and you should be able to stream between the two.

if you are streaming from your xbox one why they hell wouldnt you just use your normal controller and not this abomination.

the tablet itself isnt half bad, good to see the newer cpu/gpu combination coming out and with 2gb of ram, but still needs to be the new 100£ range.

This allows you to hold the tablet AND the controller so should be easier to use than tablet and joypad (unless you're an octopus).

Streaming from Xbox and / or Steam? I stream from desktop PC to laptop (speakers), and yes I get some crackling. Do you get crackling from tablet speakers? Any other audio (eg music) play ok through headphones?

Got my tablet yday. Amazing bit of kit but mines faulty.

Dead pixel, sd card mounting doesn't work. And the spring for the sd slot is off, my card almost got stuck 3 times.

Sound is really quiet and crackles.
Wifi cuts out constantly. Going to exchange, it's got a lot of potential as a tablet.

Was on l4d and fallout new Vegas running from the tablet (no stream).
