Found this information through the Daily Express, Seems to track all version of death stranding and the ps4 pro bundle.

1) Create a new Quidco account. Don't worry about the Pokemon offer, the offer applies here, too!

2) Head to GAME, and preorder Death Stranding.

3) Earn yourself 3% cashback from GAME, plus a £15 new member bonus from Quidco.

If you’re still not sure, the deal runs until November 30 - so you have a while to make up your mind.

"Fans looking to pay less should check out this incredible deal from Quidco that can save you £15.

This brings the price of one of this year's biggest games down to just £34.99 when you pre-order at GAME.

Cashback can be applied on the Special Edition, which brings the price down to £54.99. The GAME exclusive Collector’s Edition, which features a statue of a baby in a pod, (because why wouldn’t you put that on your shelf?) will set you back £159.99 (normally £174.99) when you factor in the cashback deal.

There’s even a Limited Edition PS4 Pro bundle featuring a copy of the game, a PlayStation 4 Pro, and a special edition controller. You can pick this up exclusively at GAME for £349.99."

Quite a bit of effort to save a few quid over the next cheapest price (standard price too). Just imo ofc
I'm Death Stranded with the amount of steps required to save money off of this game xD

We all know about cashback sites, a deal should be a deal without cashback.

It's still a saving but £15 is an exaggeration. Pokemon can be had for £40 at smyths for collection, death stranding is going for £45. So it's a £10 if death, stranding doesn't drop again before launch. Still a decent saving though, only issue is that its not guaranteed where the other prices are
I'm enjoying this so far, mainly because the world and story are intriguing. The actual game play has been basic so far, so depends what people's expectations are going in.

Don’t need to play it, you can watch a game to see if it’s good or not... this is not.
This does not take alot of effort and a £15 saving is worth the effort theres no way this game will drop down to this price before Christmas great deal have some heat as it's getting chilly in here!

"I don't need to see a movie to know whether its good or not"

That's you. That's how you sound.
Not bad for the pre-order price. I'd have thought HUKD would lap this up given how easy it is to open new accounts. £35 for a Pokemon steelbook (£7 cheaper than other online prices) seems OK to me.
Not for the collectors edition, unless it works on overpriced resells on eBay

You can see a game to know if it's good... not difficult, saying you don't need to see a movie Totally different and you know it. I\ve been playing games for 30 years now, I know when a game is going to be good or not from watching it. I can see this game has nothing to it, I know from the bad game MGSV was that the story will be few and far between. I also know from watching two 1 hour Giantbomb videos that it's pure crap.

I think your prediction is crap lol . This game will flop you say yet it's sitting at 83 on metacritic and 85 open critic. It will sell very well I think I think roughly the same amount MGS5 did on PS4 so about 4million. There might be a fair few on ebay just like loads of games end up on there.

As for MGS5 I agree it was bad and this is coming from a big MGS fan. Yet it still got like 90+ on metacritic and sold a fair few million units.
Do quidco still keep the first £5 you make each year? If so then you lose 1/3 if the saving in that lovely new account you create.

the link for the Quidco campaign doesn't seem to work anymore, have they removed it?

I'd like to see that review. My point though is its average score is very good which kind of makes your statement of "Don’t need to play it, you can watch a game to see if it’s good or not... this is not" look a bit moronic. Maybe if you had said I've seen some gameplay and it looks boring to me or it's not my cup of tea, then yes.

Art shouldn't only aspire to be fun. Think of films like Schindler's List or Saving Private Ryan. All time classics but not 'fun'. Same should be true for video games - the medium is capable of so much more.

Problem is it's 50+ hours of it.

It's an endurance and a commitment I'm not sure many will follow through to the end.

Not the point I was making. Whether the game is 'good' is still up for debate - I was saying measuring a games quality only by its fun factor is stupid.

Ah, then I agree.

This game could review 1/10 by all critics and it would not be a measure of it's quality.

The problem is computer games are not films (disregarding that it could be argued that the emotional journey of both films could be termed 'fun'). Games require more of a commitment from the player - both cognitively and temporally. If you are asked to enter Norman Reedus' shoes for 40 hours and the tasks you are given and situations you are put in are not only a slog, but repetitively so, you have a problem regardless of any message that the game is trying to convey. The issue with the reviews is that if you read them before looking at the score, you are not reading the review of an excellent game. To me, it looks like a case of the Emperor's New Clothes for not all, but a lot, of the reviewers.

You haven't actually argued against my point. Whether a game is boring and whether a game is art are 2 completely different arguments.

You are the only one actually talking about it being 'art'. Everyone else is wondering how a game that is admitted by the reviewers to be 'not fun', 'boring', or a 'slog' can get a 9 or 10 score. I even came across one review the other day:

"What I do know is that Death Stranding isn’t perfect. It isn’t without flaws, and rough edges, and missed opportunities, and ideas that didn’t always land as well as they could have." (egmnow.com/dea…ew/)

They gave it 5/5 stars. So is it perfect or not?

You seem to think that side-stepping that question by calling the computer game 'art' is the answer, but as my last reply to you states, that is not something I agree with because computer games require a little bit more from you than other forms of media, which can get away with being dull for the sake of making a larger point.
It turns out that the Metacritic user score is telling a different story than the critics, though I am sure there are a large number of people voting at the extremities for reasons other than their actual experiences of the game. Regardless, I find this whole episode fascinating, and I look forward to the next couple of months when we will most likely get a more balanced picture of the game.

You seem to be taking everything extremely literally. How am I 'sidestepping' the question when what started this debate was another commenter taking issue with the statement "games don't need to be fun"? Besides, I'm not sidestepping the question, I'm saying that the argument you're trying to bring up is mostly unrelated to the point I've been making. I actually agree that based on what I've heard, there's a decent chance I'll find Death Stranding to be bad.

Any piece of human expression is 'art', whether it's 'good' art or 'bad' art is a completely different debate than the fun factor of the game itself. If Death Stranding is a bad game, it'll be because the gameplay mechanics and story fail to engage the player and be a bad experience, not because it isn't fun.

There are so many amazing games that I would hesitate to call 'fun': Papers, Please,This War of Mine, LISA, The Stanley Parable, LIMBO, Inside, The Walking Dead, Spec Ops: The Line, To The Moon,Heavy Rain to name but a few. You imply that games need to prioritise fun over being any kind of artistic statement because they require input from the player, yet these games I've mentioned use gameplay mechanics to draw the player into the artistic statement being made by the creators and tell emotionally engaging stories without fun being a priority. Jonathan Blow once said something along the lines of 'Games can be 1 of 2 things, interesting or fun'. It's incredibly limiting to the possibilities of the medium of games to say that games should only every try and be 'fun'.

Also, a 'perfect' score is not literally stating a product is perfect and has zero room for improvement. Getting an A+ on a test doesn't mean you made zero mistakes, does it?

I spent a bit of time writing out a reply there, but I realised afterwards that I don't really care that much, and I am sure no-one else would care to read it. Thanks for filling an otherwise tedious afternoon - maybe I should have just bought Death Stranding instead!

How mature.
Tried this by going through the Pokemon link. Then bought Death Stranding and a day later nothing tracked. It didn’t work for me.
Does this still work? The link is broken.
