Looks like Samsung have churned out another model in the lower end of their Galaxy series. The new Ace known as the "Style" comes in at £99 from O2, in what appears to be a very nice deal indeed for those looking for a decent smartphone on the cheap.

Don't expect brilliant specs, but you are getting a fair bit of value for money with Android 4.4 Kitkat and a 4" screen to suit.

Not the best but a nice cheap Smartphone from the leading manufacturer. #TeamAndroid all the way!

I had the first one and I was with you there... but I hear they have come on a fair bit, a family member had the Ace 3 and that was pretty decent!

At 4" and an IPs screen it is just an iPhone 5c clone, be it one with a removable battery

iPhone 5c clone? I'm aware the iPhone 5c comes with software called "iOS" and a much higher price point.

Yes, I guess the Ace does have that Android bonus card up its sleeve..

Internal Phone Memory
4GB

Hmm - is that before or after the bloatware?

Most likely before. I know the Galaxy Fame has 4GB, but about 2GB is taken up by the OS.

Personally I'd rather spend an extra £20 to get a Moto G. Faster CPU, more RAM, no bloatware, better screen, latest version of vanilla Android (no TouchWiz to slow the device down) and updates that won't take months to get. Only downsides might be lack of SD slot and the camera on the Ace Style will probably be better.

iPhone 5C clone? In what way? Technologically it's better than this Ace Style in every way, even if it is an Apple. Plus it's in a completely different price group.

Edit: Completely forgot the Moto E. It costs £79 on Tesco Mobile (who use the o2 network) and £99 SIM free from Tesco Direct, although you can probably get the TM unlocked for a few quid. It's still mostly better than the Ace Style unless you need a front facing camera.
