would class this a mid-range phone

Snapdragon 630 and 3GB RAM, so way too expensive for mid range specs

My phone kicks the ass off this. It cost 1/3 of the price, has a bigger screen, and is only a 'Doogee'.

Obligatory mention of xiaomi redmi note 4 for half the price.

moto not good on updates

haven't had any this year on the G5

never had a good experience with motorola, bad customer service and very poor assembly of the phones.

Three Motorola's in my family - all work just fine and never had a failure - just sayin'

It's a lot of money for not a lot of phone! Added to that the fact that Moto are dire when it comes to keeping their devices up to date with the latest security patches and versions of Android.

Fingerprint sensor in the wrong location but it's still a nice phone. Wouldn't pay more than £300 for it.
People who cite Chinese phones with no warranty; it is not comparable.

Updates will be more regular than other android phones as it's a pure android meaning it will get the latest updates and security as Google Pixel phones.

Bluetooth 5.0, can send audio to up to 4 speakers or other devices
