Can you buy something similar to an R4 card for these like for the DSL ?

Dunno but you could just steal the games from a shop instead?

Had this in my basket for £125 last week! Glad I held off. Worth noting that Grainger Games with a 12 month warranty with new products.

Great price!
Bit odd Grainger Games adding the "(3DS / 2DS)" but heat added none the less.

Good point. I can't decide between this and the Pokeball one.
Is there any possible discount codes?
I only recently purchased the 2DS from Tesco when they had an offer on but this is seriously tempting.

I'd also be interested to hear which one is better - Pokeball or Pikachu edition? Think I'd like the Pokeball edition more but would be interested to hear what others have to say.

Cheers.

All comes down to which you prefer.

Difficult choice. Pokeball just looks a bit better overall. How much does everyone think I could get for selling the 2DS on its own on eBay? Having had a quick look, seems like £40-£50 seems to be the average.

Yes and? Do you think the OP wanted to run some homebrew and/or emulators? Personally I doubt it...
Pokeball Edition has a pressable ‘button’ on the lid, although it does nothing.. swayed it for me however
Only just bought a 2ds from Tesco. Hmm what to do. The load times when starting and exiting games can be a bit frustrating. And Pokemon Ultra doesn't seem to run as smoothly as it could. But I'm not going to get back what I paid for the 2ds so tough call 🤔

Same kind of dilemma as me.

These worth getting or will they lack support just like the PS Vita?

The game boxes are always empty if you hadn't noticed
Will these games come to the Nintendo Switch? Mario's Bros 2 looks good, but not sure its worth buying one of these just to play it.

New game releases are starting to slow but it’s got a huge catalogue of excellent games.
Is it just the console only or?

Still got a couple years left in it. Then i expect some sort of mini Switch to come out that's dedicated to handheld mode.
Lots of new 3DS/2DS games announced as well as a massive back catalogue of superb 3DS/DS games. kotaku.com/eve…273

Ended up selling my Vita due to the lack of games. And what games I did want weren't cheap or easy to find. The DS library on the other hand is huge and you've not only got 3DS games but the old DS games as well (classics like Chinatown Wars and Professor Layton are worth playing even now). The graphics aren't anywhere close to the Vita's but the library of excellent games more than make up for it. The Switch is Nintendo's main priority but there's still new releases coming to the 3ds. Just not many!
thanks OP.

I'm quite tempted to sell my Switch and get one of these. I bought it for occasional hand held use, and I've really not used it since buying it. For occasional use, a £100 investment is better than a £279 investment. I'm just worried that the difference in screen quality/graphics will bother me.
Anyone else done something similar?
Cracking price

Yes this is just a newer version with bigger screens. It just won't play anything in 3D, Pokémon has no 3D anyway.

He will be able to battle against his dad on the old 3DS as long as they both have a Pokémon Sun/Moon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon game each.

Dunno but you could just steal the games from a shop instead?

But you could also say that to the 2 billion PC gamers worldwide.
