New Nintendo Switch wired controllers @ Argos - £24.99 (free C&C)

Found 12th Aug
I swear every time a new Nintendo Switch controller is released, it looks awesome. Three are ‘shadow’ ones (£24.99), and one is a new ‘face-off’ one (£29.99).

I always post about new controllers for the Nintendo Switch and it appears I’m not stopping yet. Yes I know it’s “HotUKDeals” and not “HotUKHeadsUpDeals” but these posts are allowed too so why not post as a heads up?

Did you not read the description?
What's the difference between the face offs and the shadow ones? Are they all considered "official" ?

Yep still doesn't justify the post, misc is the place for this one as hot UK deals is a deals site.
I want to see, "new switch controllers £22.85 at base" for example as then that's at least a saving on retail

Face offs have changeable fronts. And yeah they’re officially licensed controllers by PowerA

The shadow ones are new ones from Power A and the Face Off ones are from PDP. All are officially licensed. I have a couple of the Power A ones and one PDP one. The PDP controller is very good and the Power A controller is good. Both are decent if you cannot afford a pro controller.

Thanks for the info, which do you like better? I could do with upping my controllers ready for Smash!

If you don’t have a Pro controller but you do have a PS4, XB1 or PS3; get an 8bitdo or mayflash Bluetooth receiver and use those controllers on your docked switch.

£15.59 from Amazon and much better than these power a controllers

I apologise. My line saying that the PDP controller is very good and the Power A ones being good was my way of saying that the PDP ones are better in my opinion. The Power A ones are still good, but the PDP one is better. Nintendo's own pro controller trumps both but if you can't afford it these provide good alternatives.
Wrong place for this kind of link, not a deal.
I’m not bothered on the deal, personally I like the heads up but is it only me that doesn’t care what their controller looks like as long as it works well ? I’m looking at the screen not the controller !
I've never felt comfortable with wired controllers since the wavebird came out. I know it's cheaper for multiplayer but those trailing wires.... the constant anxiety about them bringing the console crashig to the ground is just not worth the saving.

Just remember not all of the controls will be there (e.g. the screenshot button) but if you don’t use them it shouldn’t be a problem anyway
I'd be all over these IF they had rumble. The princess peach one in particular looks great.

Wireless I can live without, as it's only been about ten years since that was standard. But I haven't played a game without rumble in probably more than 20 years.
saw these in Asda for £22.99

Just want to use my PS controller as a second controller for Overcooked. The mrs is getting ***** off using the joy controller and lord knows she doesnt need anything else to get annoyed at after playing this infuriating game.
