Damn, if only it were a petrol

Damn, if only it weren't a Juke!
Love jukes, sad that they removed the spoiler from the personalisation pack as I think it changes the look entirely, but that's an amazing price for a brand new car

Comments are a bit stupid, if you don't like the look of the car then don't buy it. Why do you feel the need to tell everyone you don't like it? It doesn't make you special and it doesn't stop people who do like it from buying it.

Both the juke and qashqai were in the most popular cars (top 10) in the past 5 years and more.
Opposite of a Tardis: big on the outside, tiny inside. A highly impractical as well as ugly and generally poor car. Mostly driven by women 'of a certain age' who fancy a SUV but can't stretch to a proper one.

And yes, about to be replaced.

Even at this price they are making a profit and it will lose money as soon as you take it off the forecourt. . And this is called UK Hotdeals.. & this in my opinion is a deal

I'm confused as to why the title says its a 1.5dci but underneath a 1.5 petrol?

Auto or manual gear?
Fugly but seems like a good deal.
Cracking deal, as already said a marmite car and for me I think it’s fugly but heat for the price

It may be new but that still doesn’t change the fact that it’s a damn fugly car
New model expected to be released this year.

So are the petrol engines Nissan and diesels Renault? Anyone had any probs with the diesel lumps as I would prefer the oil burner for better torque and mpg

Mercedes use them, they're absolutely fine.

My 10 year old Megane failed last month (I know nothing about engines but apparently the bottom end was nackered), had done 115000 miles. Dont suppose thats all that good, but it's an idea. Having said that my other half drives a '16 Qashqai which has the same engine apparently and is a MUCH smoother drive (obviously its 7 years younger).

Edit: Both are 1.5 dci renault engines.

Does £13,100 include the Arctic White paint (the only colour available)? It's listed as a £250 option, the only 'free' colour is Flame Red, which they don't have.
My wife is on her second. They are a nice drive and have proved faultless. Seems like a great deal.

Bottom end will be crankshaft bearings, that's very unusual for only 115k miles as on the continent renaults go around the clock a few times and then they ship them off to Eastern Europe to go round the clock a few more...... Not unusual for these engines to do 500k+ km in their lifetimes. Would be interested to find out if anyone has made warranty claims on the Renault engines. I know the 1.0 petrol turbo has been a disaster which has pushed Nissan down the reliability index.
is this automatic? If not whats the price with auto transmission
What's real world mpg like? I'm looking for a cheap to run econobox for my new job commute. It's 90 miles a day...

I average 1.2k miles per month since jan in mine and I get avg 58mpg, but if I'm just running round town it can fall into 30s

I also stay in eco mode which tbh does feel crap compared to normal or sport but doesn't bother me, some people online have suggested 'normal' can be more efficient in some situations but I am too lazy to do those tests

Also for real world use I will agree with one comment above in that it is like the opposite of a tardis, it's so comfy to drive and be in but if you ever need to put something big in the boot you may be stuffed, have struggled with tip runs and such myself. Qashqai would be a better choice in that sense but I have liked jukes since they came out so I just went with one.

Do you drive the diesel like in this deal?

yeah but mine is 2014, pre-facelift but I don't think the engine changed
It's not the best car. But it's not asking best money. Its different and it's ok to be different. You get quite a bit of kit too. Theres loads in my area because of the factory. I've never heard anything bad about them yet.

The auto box on these has a bad reputation. Colleague at work had 2 boxes need replacing in 3 years. If you look online it seems a far too common issue.

I like your comment about ok to be different. I don’t mind the looks but commend Nissan for daring to do something different, cars of a particular type generally look the same. I do like that they try to be different.
Just goes to show how much the petrol and diesel car manufacturers are in a rush to get rid of stock due to the realisation that climate change is caused by burning fossil fuels..

Our goverment should have allowed only hybrids to be sold here in the UK 10 years ago. Perhaps battery technology would be more advanced than it currently is..

The next advancement was phev followed finally by full EV.

Once you try EV you will realise fire powered cars are just plain wrong (unless it's for motorsport entertainment)
Nothing against the car personally, but I would be very wary about buying any car which has the "intelligent key system" like this one seems to have.
Means you've got to forever store your keys in a metal lined pouch to avoid car theft from a "relay attack"
