I wanted to get this..but they don't have this with one month contract sim.so it's not good deal
Hopefully they'll put up some monthly rolling contracts with a much reduce upfront. I won't vote either way as £229 is the RRP for this phone so not really a deal.

Well, considering the decent specs bump over the older model an extra £30 is not alot
Interesting it's on Amazon for pre-order as having 64GB not 32GB and for more....are there several variants or has someone nawsed their listing up?

EDIT: it seems to have been pulled already as an Amazon listing, another non-Amazon listing with similar spec though.

Yes there's a 4GB RAM, 64GB version in the pipeline.
These Nokia devices are brilliant - monthly security updates. Details here.
Would rather get Nokia 8 currently £259+£15 on 1mont contract at cpw. Could cancel airtime within 14 days.. at £274 it's a bargain with snpdrgn 835 and overall superiority.
The Huawei P Smart is a much better phone
I'm about to ring vodafone as my contract is up for renewal. Really not sure what to aim for with budget of sub 20 per month and minimum 3gb data. This, p20 lite, moto x4 or p smart. Any advice gratefully received!
How's this compared to moto g5s plus
Both of them are closely priced

In the past I would have went Moto, but since Lenovo took over, quality and updates have disappeared.
The reviews say it now has wireless charging but no mention on cow

Erm no it isn't. I had a P Smart and it has really poor cameras, stuttering performance. The Nokia 6 2018 is far better in every way

Must be a typo as it doesn't have it as it has a metal back
This makes Xiaomi Mi A1 such a good deal.

also... "Works in USA" if you only needs 3G. According to the spec on gsmarena, the supported LTE bands are rather useless in the US. gsmarena.com/nok…php

Personally I would choose the nokia over the N6 (2018) will have much longer software support, it's practically non existent on the Moto G5S Plus, the N6's battery will last a lot longer even though they are both rated at 3000mAh, this mainly down to the better 630 soc in the N6, the N6 has USB type C for charging compared with Moto's micro USB, the Moto does have aptX support which the N6 doesn't support but then the N6 has bluetooth 5.0 compared with Moto's 4.2 which is probably better in the long run.

I believe the Nokia 6 2018 supports up to APTx HD, though I have no means of testing. It also has Bluetooth 5.0.

If it does that's cool but I'm finding it hard to find any concrete spec sheet that lists it.

One or two comparison reviews seem to highlight that it does, VS other phones.

I've seen that also but most places don't seem to mention it including Nokia's own site, I hope it does support it though but I'm doubtful.

Maybe it's just not a spec they're bothered about listing since ultimately it's just a codec. I'm not sure why a site would specifically say the Nokia 6.1 has APT X versus the other phone in the comparison if they haven't tested it or been given this information though.
