Good phone but there’s a lot of competition at this price point so I doubt if the deal will prove popular.
Wish they had stuck with the old design on the 7 plus , as I had a 7 plus and loved it till I smashed the screen and replaced it with a galaxy s9 which I hate in comparison

Agreed. If you like clean, stock Android though then the field is much smaller.
I'm gutted I didn't get the 8.1, which is all but unavailable now. This is probably the best Android One handset available at the moment.

Charges from 0%to 100 % in 2hrs . Not the fastest charging times but not a particularly bad result, either I'd say.
