You forgot to include delivery costs......takes the total to £925.97!

Still a £23 saving mind, so not bad. Although they are only £816.63 from the education store if you know any nice students or academics (or are one yourself).

if your a student take your NUS card to the apple store for 15-20% off ... i took my cousin along last year to get me mine!

It applies to members of staff at most educational institutions too, so lecturers, teachers even admin staff I believe. Although, University students/staff get the biggest discount afaik. - you must know one of those, friend of a friend who hates macs and doesn't want one themselves, maybe?

Good battery life but not that light ; good price for this latop but I tend to think that Apple have overpriced it and there are better laptops out there for this money..

you can still go through the student link to get these laptops at much cheaper prices:

store.apple.com/uk_…NDc

£816.63 on there

The point is, it's cheaper than the regular price, not much cheaper, but new Apple products are rarely discounted.

If you can find anywhere that you can get an Apple laptop like this for £350-450 then feel free to post it. (Even a Windows laptop of that price would be pants in comparison. Compare like-for-like and then post a better deal).

If you're not after an Apple Macbook then clearly this post isn't for you.

You can also get a 17% corporate discount ]here.

how does that corp one work? when i log in with any work details i get about 6% discount where as the student one is about 14% discount.

Anyone know how to get 17% off?
