A bag of frozen chips from Iceland sounds a lot less bother and certainly a lot lot lot cheaper. How good can a chip be!?

Dunno. The Actifry takes 40-45 minutes to make chips. This claims to do it in a quarter of the time. Mind you, from the pictures you would have to do several batches to feed a family, so not sure how useful this gadget really is.
