I'd preorder this and get it free while you can - It will be published (25 Jan. 2018) The authors books are usually really quite brilliant !!!

Praise for the DC Max Wolfe series
'Tense and human, fast and authentic' Lee Child

'A relentless plot, evocative prose and compelling characters conspire to make this a must read' Jeffery Deaver

'Great plotting, great characters and at least two eye-widening twists I didn't see coming' Sophie Hannah

'I've long been a fan of Tony Parsons' writing. This is brilliant stuff!' Peter James

From the Number One Bestselling

Crime Author, a brilliant new SHORT STORY featuring murder detective

Max Wolfe who is haunted by a nightmare of his own making ...

As detective Max Wolfe recovers from the injuries sustained in The Murder Bag,

a figure from his past comes back into his life: his childhood

sweetheart, now stalked and threatened by her violent ex-partner.
As Max attempts to protect her, he is haunted by a nightmare of his own:

the reappearance of the terrorist he killed with his car at the start of

The Murder Bag.Are they visions brought on by the medication Max is taking? Or is he going mad?

Or do some people just have to be killed twice?

Cheers old mate

Heat thx

Ordered, thanks

Thanks Boz.

Thanks very much Boz!

nice one, thanks something to read in the doldrums after christmas when there's nothing on TV!

You're dead!

This guy is a seriously good crime writer. It's a shame this book is being given out free (well, for Tony's bank balance!).

Easily worth the £2.99-£3.99 range that more 'established' authors charge for their ebooks.

Purchased and heated. I also bought one of his other books at regular price.
Thanks OP.

My Fav author so this is fab ty

Thanks Boz

Won't be free for very long. Trust me

Thanks!

I have learned something today, thanks to you. I didn't know Tony Parsons was writing crime fiction I read almost all of his books in other fiction novels like Man and a boy etc but last one I read was such a dissappointment, I stopped reading him altogether which is why I must have missed out his crime fiction books.
Double thanks to you Boz

Yes Thank You I have all his Max Wolfe books but haven't ventured into his other books yet. Think I'll give it go after finishing the Riley Paige series I'm currently traveling through
