This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

New A series are nice and this ones USP is 5G, plus a pretty decent spec and some free buds worth £139(?)

Headline spec bits are
5G
Snapdragon 855 (just spotted that elsewhere, is that correct? No Exynos?)
6.7inch Super AMOLED
6GB + 128GB + Micro SD
4500mAh Battery
Main camera - 48.0 MP + 5.0 MP + 8.0 MP with 240fps HD recording
In screen finger print (not a fan, but people want them)

Up to £400 trade in for Samsung devices, £350 for Apple or £50 for any Android - But, just like the more recent Samsung trade in deals, the devices do need to be in good condition (very good) to fully qualify for the suggested discount.

I can't justify price jump from A70 - +£300 for slightly better processor and 5G? Sorry but no...

Does anybody know how much the price increases between a 4G and 5G ‘phone? How much “ value” the companies consider to be an appropriate increase in price related to down/upload performance?

Problem is that the none 5G phones will be considered obsolete in a year or two. As 5G masts goes up, 4G and 3G network availability may lessen.

The x50 is oddly dated 5G though and pretty low end, 2nd gen 5G phones are big step up.
