With the Apple 12 on the horizon along with the Google 5,. Samsung going to be feeling the heat which hopefully reflects in he pricing of their top of the range phones.
I have been using Samsung S phone since 2012. Starting from S3, S5, S7 Edge, S9+. In UK phones Samsung uses Exynos processors they are in many ways inferior to Qualcomm counterparts. My next phone won't be a Samsung unless they offer the option to choose Qualcomm or Exynos versions of the phones are considerably cheaper.
I think as consumers we should stop buying the S lines until they ship ALL of them with snapdragon chips. I don't get how they can get away with slower chip, more power hungry and still charge the same price!

Happy Sunday switchy? You're late and wonder if you're trying to matchup the timings with the pub opening time? Lol
Would this still come with the 2 year Samsung warranty?

The next wave of S phones will have dedicated gpu and better cpu processing power that Qualcomm counterparts. At least that's what I read.

Completely agree with you on this one. Frustrating for those in regions who hace the Exynos chip.
This year should have been Samsung's to take, but I wouldn't touch this grossly inferior (vs Snapdragon) product with a 10 foot bargepole. I watched Youtube reviews and really wanted one, then discovered I wouldn't get the same product...

Samsung have been saying this since 4eva. With every phone its the same story. Also there are lots of patents hold by Qualcomm that's in the way of Making a better SOC by Samsung i think.
Should i? :/

Ohh...thanks, Mr.S, but the Poco you posted got my attention!

I have s20 plus snapdragon 5g. Was really excited about it but honestly it's not really any different from the s10 plus and the s9 I had before that.....

Surely the camera, screen, RAM & CPU have improved though.

Of course they have, but smart phone prices on the popular brands have gone crazy and the innovation between generations is very minor or not reflective of the price tag.

Honestly just my opinion but people would do well to drop out of this phone rat race.

Well maybe but for the stuff I use it for there's no difference. Maybe if you are some hardcore guy you might notice....

Thats why I'm going with the S20 5G G9810 - you can have the Snapdragon version for about £30 more than this...

I'm not 100% sure but I think the US version is the better chip
I bought S10+ a month ago..... Can't believe it......
Unfortunately, this variant sold here sports an exynos processor which has loads of complaints. I would highly recommend this website:

wondamobile.com/

This has all the best phones at affordable prices. Samsung phones sold on this website sports the Snapdragon processor. Please note the samsung variant for the above model are the 12gb ram ones. But still the prices are amazing. Delivery is super fast by dhl for additional fee.

Is the fingerprint scanner better than the S10+? I think the s10+ scanner is quite bad.

Hmm I would say it is pretty much the same. It works most of the time so it doesn't annoy me too much, but still has its moments.
Bought an S20 5g from Blu Diode in July. As company based in Hong-Kong got the snapdragon model 12gb for just under £620. Must say im pretty impressed with performance so far and the battery life. It is new phone though
just a heads up from today news ...unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra get $200 discounts in the US

"clever get" - long time since I've heard someone being called a get - much funnier + nicer than most words used nowadays
