Heat added, im finding the price of 32gb memory sticks coming down in price!
how are these for reliability? I've not used a USB memory stick since the last one I had just stopped working and I lost all my files would be interested to know if these micro usbs are reliable enough to trust

i have been using one of these for a couple of months on my raspberry pi torrent box and I have had no problems so far! for under a tenner well worth it!
How reliable is the seller (genuine)? Prices certainly coming down, but a lot of fakes out there too.. Tend to order only from trusted sellers or websites direct (Ebuyer/Amazon) that makes returns or replacements easier.... That's no offence to this seller, just a question... Want four, connect to my usb hub for my film collection in my blu ray player!

lost mine in the garden for over a week. it was rained on, chewed by the cat and trod on a few times yet still worked fine 2 weeks later when I found it again.
I'm hoping the 64gb version of this comes down in price, need one for my Wii U...
Thanks, ordered

Oh yeah, you gonna fill it with all that home-brew ?
Bought one of these a couple of weeks ago and really pleased. Very small and fast. Perhaps a problem if you have big fingers and are not too dextrous. Perfect for my Ford Fiesta - bigger sticks got bent.

Based on the very small size and low price I assume it uses TLC memory which is the least reliable type. Most thumb drives on the market do so it's not a major criticism.

But Sandisk manufacture NAND themselves so memory quality should be reasonably good. You know you're not getting some low grade reject NAND which is often the case with no-name flash drives.

If reliability is a huge concern you should specifically look for MLC or even SLC drives.

All in good time, then again I will need a bigger hdd to fill up homebrew stuff I have quite a few eshop purchased games that I have to download. After buying SC: Blacklist on the eshop sale, I had to delete to quite a few games off the console to accommodate it...

Seems like a bargain to me. Heat.
Anyone know if it's possible to put a Windows Swapfile on one of these to speed up a machine with little memory and a slow hard disk?
For Christmas my wife bought me one of these

So far so good. I have been using one of these for a month. Very fat
And fast
Good wee drives, bought a few recently. They ARE tiny so best used for for duties where they are inserted and stay put - in laptops, humax boxes, car music systems, Pi's, etc. Ideal in my Verbatim Mediashare to transfer jpgs from the camera & cards too - and store video files, etc for streaming, etc. Had to put a lanyard (through the tiny eye on black plastic rear 'grip') for the more regularly used one - so becomes more obvious and you dont forget to eject it!

Thank you. Just ordered one for my Wii U.

Nintendo recommend self powered external hard drives, but couple of the guys involved with the hukd wii u threads are using usb flash drives (this SanDisk ultra and a lexar s23) and they seem to be running ok...

It really looks and feels the part. And was engraved! Thought it must have been at least 64Gb and when I first plugged it in, I thought it hadn't been formatted properly when it said 2Gb.

At least the engraving wasn't "This is how much you mean to me"
Thanks, I need another one for work and this one doesn't get in the way of my mac too much.

I have the 64gb model. It's been OK but only had it a month. It does get quite warm after a short period of time. Write / Read speeds are good.

Great price currently using one of these for my parrot AR 2.0 drone. Weighs less than 1gram and does not have the ground shielding issue reported with some usb sticks and the drone.
What's the grixx 64gb vs this one like? The 64gb grixx can be had for 13.99 i think
