"sport" 0-62 mph: 14.3 secs LOL

If you class Darts as a sport, then this is it.

"sport" 0-62 mph: 14.3 secs LOL

That's taking the Michael a little bit!

As cheap as this may be, I have to vote cold purely for the sheer nerve of labelling the car 'sport'.

is chess a sport?

chess is a board game so nope

looks nice

Whiplash claim right there.

The de-facto boy racer/charvers car in 8 years time.

oh ok so it says sport and its slow but its a brand new car for £7500 seat hold their value really well heat from me

Wouldn't like to be joining the motorway in this. 0-62mph in 14 seconds?

Don't think it will look like the one in the pic somehow.

Good price.

I'd lease it...

Better than the ancient 1.4 litre they used to do.

It's so fast it beats the Falcon on a Kessel Run...

Don't think it will look like the one in the pic somehow.

probably looks like this

It's got a "SEAT logo boot release" Hot from me.

It's a "Sport Coupe" as in the shape of the car as opposed to being a "Sport" model

Do you join the motorway from a standstill? I used to have a car with almost half this power without issue. Lots of power is rarely required (by drivers that are paying attention to what they're supposed to be doing).

You won't be skilled enough to drive a lorry then!

The model is the E, sport coupe as one guy said above is the design. If you want faster you need the FR model of this, though still only 7.6s still impressive on fuel consumption though.

Good value. But as a Seat Mii owner with the same engine I agree with the commentators who think it may be a tad slow at times. It is. Also the lack of air-con (not mentioned in spec) is a turn-off. But voted hot for what it is at the price. The stated MPG will be nothing like quoted either. 41 mpg is the norm.

14 inch steel wheels. Not the car in the picture.

HGV's are limited to 60mph and join motorways just fine. A fully loaded HGV takes around 50 seconds 0-60.

Yup my 1 litre takes closer to 20 seconds according to the brochure but I join the motorway just fine

When was the last time you saw an HGV give way to a Seat Ibiza?

There is a very good reason HGV's join safely. People really don't want to hit them.

0-60 in 34 seconds...almost walk as fast.

oh but they love to smash into seat ibiza's though

Good deal for a new car particularly when you consider 14 plate versions all be it with slightly bigger engine slightly better spec can go for £7k from most dealerships.

LOL, garbage.

Nice cars to drive though. I have a slightly more powerful Ibiza and it's been the best car I've owned so far. As stated above, when sre you hitting the motorway from a standstill on a non-ramped entrance lane? How often are you doing 0-60 in the middle of any town. Probably time for being realistic. Definitely hot for price alone. As for 'boy racer wanabee' cars of the future, I think Corsas have that hands down, it's always a crappy Vauxhall!!

I have a 1.0 3 cylinder and that does 0-60 in less than 9 seconds and gets similar MPG. It does have 140bhp and a turbo though and I'm paying 7k just to lease it for 3 year...

Perfect for any new driver that can afford this! heat

Possibly but the corsa takes that crown.Pot dealers drive the astray and phet dealers like the vectra and when they graduate to coke it's audi time lol

skill? don't they just pull out and expect everyone else to adjust to them?

Tell me what it is??

Really old engine technology. The new 1 litre engine they do in the Ibiza is much more powerful and efficient. I suppose they're trying to push them out the door so they don't have to try and sell them along the new ones. This will depreciate like a stone.

a good little run around car.

The picture is of a 2008+ pre-facelift FR CR with AFS and Xenons as I have the stinky diesel version in black.

Great car this kind of trim would be ideal as the FR is too harsh for UK roads even after increasing the tyre wall size.
