Tesco can also be capped so no nasty bills

they're customer service was terrible. I had no end of problems when I tried to end my 30 day rolling contract. it would have to be one hell of a deal to make me even contemplate going back

I get 1000 mins 5000 texts 2gb data . £10 .

My wife get the same .

if i bought one of those £7.50pm sim only plan, would i be able to cap it at this level every month or do i need to cap it with a margin above this amount? that is, it looks from the website that you need to choose a cap amount, they give an example of £5 on a £10 pm tariff to make it £15 cap. could this cap amount be set to zero so i would never pay more than £7.50pm?

The minimum cap seems to be £2.50 per month

I would like:
500 minutes
500 texts
(truly) Unlimited Data

...for the same price or cheaper.

We've capped our Tesco £10 pm 12 month contract. From my understanding when the minutes, text or data on the package is used up within the month then I have to wait for next months allowance. There is an option to add credit to the account, like a PAYG top-up to use if the contract allowance is used up, but I don't bother and just pay the monthly contract.

yeah, for the serial texter. X)

5000 texts/month lol. My Vodafone contract is unlimited texts, I kid you not it says I have 999,999,999 texts on my plan.

This is a pretty decent deal if you want to stay on O2 but don't want to pay their extortionate prices.

The capping is in incremental stages, £2.50 minimum, then £5, then £10 and so on.

If you go over your allowances or call/text numbers that aren't included in your contract, the maximum you will be charged is your core price plus the additional cap. So £15 with a £12.50 contract and £2.50 Flexi-cap.

I'm on the super awesome unlimited everything with T-mobile for £7.50 until January, otherwise 3 would be my goto plan. Tesco are 2nd class O2.

TalkTalk customers can still get their £7.50 deal: 1000mins / 3000 texts / 4GB dat for £7.50PM (12 months).

They use Vodafone.

FANTASTIC customer service. all 6 members of my family are on tesco. hot hot hot

Free ovivo plan best deal on the go. With so much free wifi on the go then you just use your ovivo when you need to.

what's the cheapest out there with 1gb data?

I went for the 650mins, 5000 texts & 2gb data from tesco a few mths back for £10.
Switched because they use the O2 network (good reviews) & since Orange went to EE, they've been shocking!
Tesco customer service was ok, had a winge about something and they credited my 2 sim only plans with £60 no quibble, so all been fine.
Good phone app that tracks usage and easy and free to use, so difficult to exceed.
The only issue about Tesco Mobile - you can't do tethering! So iPad, laptop etc almost useless unless near Wifi.
All said, I'm not a fan of Tescos, as ordered many an item online only for them to message me later - OOS!!
Hope it helps some peoples minds up either way.

Tethering works fine on Android.

Good price on paper, awful customer service

Great deal! Two points though: No tethering on iOS (unless you jailbreak) with Tesco, and no HulloMail support (again, under iOS).

Tesco are currently the ONLY provider recommended by Which?

Would never use Three or T mobile after having dreadful problems trying to terminate at the end of the contracted period.
They try all ways to get more money out of you and their customer services are disgusting.

Love Tesco Mobile, been with them for a couple of years now simo, no quibbles at all. HOT.

TalkTalk has possibly the worst customer service in the world & certainly was the most reported telecoms company for complaints to offcom

Been with tesco mobile for 2 years now 650min (family perk 150 min extra) 5000 text 1gb data £10 monthly rolling sim only.
No problem with them at all.
