Don't waste your time worrying about aspartame until you're sure you're done worrying about mercury in vaccines and the earth being flat.

I don't think Subway is particularly expensive, especially if you utilise the deals. Footlong 'meal' with cookie and drink is usually £5-£7 so it's matching most of the fast food competitors. You might get slightly more for £7 at McDonald's but if you're complaining that Subway is 'filthy' and 'not good for you' then you probably don't want a 'maccies' either.

Other than buying ingredients and preparing food yourself at home, I'd be keen to hear any suggestions you have for an alternative hot meal 'on-the-go' that's better value, cleaner, and healthier than Subway.

Brave boy looking at Subway just after the holidays
I'm confused, have they stopped sub of the day, or is it just these items added to the savers menu which is available all week? If sub of the day is still on, is the nacho chicken still one of those or has it been replaced? :/

Had not been to a Subway for a long time and when I recently went in for a good old Italian BMT it cost me the earth, prices changed a LOT over the past couple of years. Nice to see some deals.

The prices have pretty much been the same for years though, always in the range of £5-6 for a foot long with a drink (not bottled)

Really don't think the meat feast is that nice, would much prefer just the meatballs one

Always one member of the Health Police on here.eats rice cakes and kale all day
Fill your Subsquads on these threads. I got mine filled in an hour on here and a friends filled in the same time. just put your code on here, no personal information is needed and you don't need to know anyone who joins.

Get an extra 50 points when 2 of you purchase within 4 hours of each other. Buying this deal gets you 25 points but double that if you come back within 7 days = 50 points, add the 50 from your Subsquad and that pays for a free drink each time.

I agree that aspartame doesn't taste nice, but I never get their drinks anyways. I agree less with your other points. Like the other commenters said, those are both down to it being fast food.

With regards to aspartame, I was merely illustrating the point that those who leap to defend it (for some reason), always use the "tinfoil hat" defence. They can't grasp the fact that a load of people just cannot stand the taste of it.

Also, just because it's fast food, it doesn't have to mean that the "restaurant" is filthy. Indeed, most McDonald's I've been into are pretty clean, obviously this is more dependent on where you live. I've never been in a Subway that looks clean, perhaps they are in other locations.

I'll give this a try, I just set one up, my code is 4rxh02.

Anyone welcome
Bmt footlong been £3 in my local for ages just finished
Used to love steak and cheese when in Florida, got one over here, and the meat was grey and slimey. Gross.🤢🤢
A bagette costs 23p in Aldi. How much to make your own vegetarian one at home?
Ah, cannot do that, as it is work.

Watch this space, people will need someone to come home to clean their backside too!

£5 for a "£1" meal is too expensive, even though I can afford it!
Vegetarian ones cost £2 at Lancaster University Subway, so I have been told.

They need to bring back the BBQ beef from last year (or the year before, I really only went for that promotion). When it ended I had to settle with the regular beef and BBQ sauce but it's just not the same. Actually craving it to come to think of it
Seems all squads on page are full, starting a new one: zundsd
Anyone looking for a Subsquad join
