I am still not sure whether to buy this or the LITE.

Honestly wouldn’t bother with the lite! I have the older Switch and you’ll regret not being able to plug in.
Zelda was made for a big tv!!

Knock another £150 off and i may buy one of these one day.

By the time you wait 2 years for this to become £110 the next console will be on the horizon. Then you’ll want to wait again for when that drops, you’ll complain about the price and wait for the price drop. Before you know it, you’ve spent years waiting without any enjoyment.

Waiting is a never ending solution as you lose out on the pleasures of life for the sake of a few quid.
Although I think the Switch is a great use of old Nvidia tech I can't for the life of me get my head around the extortionate pricing.

I did that last week. Makes this deal even better. Got Mario Odyssey for £20 extra. Bargain.

I’m going to show them the offer on their website and ask if I can do it and pay the difference. Worst case they’ll say no

When you go to store to collect ask them to add it. With your proof of purchase they should do it for you i.e. they apply the discount and charge you the £20 extra.

I tried this when I picked mine up last week and the store refused to do it due to it being an eBay purchase

Unless you have extra clear that you don't want to play on a TV, or that you will want to play on handset EVERY SINGLE TIME I will go with the normal
I bought my switch in prime day for £200 (warehouse deal, like new, seemed like if I just bought it from game). And on these days there are a lot of offers on the switch. And Christmas is coming, so a lot of packs will appear. So even if you don't get a superdeal like me you can catch a normal switch for a few pounds more than a lite. And it's worth it

I think it’s more that I have a 20 month old and I never get the tv to myself my down time is when I go to bed but maybe you are right.
Good deal but no P&P to Ireland is a bit of a balls.
Was waiting for v2 for this price. Heat for me!

Think about it. Also in the future you may want to play some games with others on the tv or so.
Evaluate the price tag. If the difference is little I'll go with the normal.

I can more than afford it but it’s more about the form factor.

If you ever think you would like to play the Switch on a big TV, then get the regular version. Think about local multiplayer games etc otherwise, get the Lite. Done

I was so keen for the lite, but as soon as I found out it no switching capabilities it's an instant no. Get this

Not sure to be honest. Seems some have been refused even when they've picked up in store. If anyone that hasn't tried this yet I would escalate politely to a store manager/supervisor. See no logical reason they should refuse. Even if you don't get the game at £20 this is still a good deal for the new Switch.

In my Argos now, they’ve done the game deal for me! They wanted to refund the console and put it all through again, I said I didn’t have enough money to pay for the console twice while waiting on a refund so they refunded to a gift card and did it that way

Glad to hear the game for £20 worked for you. I don't understand how this works however.
