Nice deal
Very tempting - cash back might seal the deal. I'll be watching this one
who does virgin piggy back off?.
£5 TCB/quidco from CPW
get any tariff and update it immediately on receipt like i did directly by calling 789 - tell them it is set up wrong (which CPW actually did in my case giving me the wrong package)
& hopefully get an auto cheque back from CPW also

Think that is a good deal for the price
Looks good - thank you
Nice find

That's a joke everything everywhere. I was in Skegness last week and couldn't get any signal at all 90% of the time on an orange phone using Orange/T-mobile network

Everything everywhere is obviously a bit of an exaggeration With that said, I've found the coverage to be excellent. The customer service is as good as any other operator I've been with (admittedly that's not saying much!).
mrs is on t-mobile and we struggle where we live. o2 is fine there
Surely giffgaff better for your money @ £10 a pop with unlimited internet and 250 mins (who uses that many minutes?!)

eeeerrrrr, most people.
What is the data speed like? I'm trying Giffgaff and Ovivio out, but this looks good for the minutes.

Will the sin work in an Iphone (If I cut it down) or my G300 (I.E, Is it a smartphone tarrif?)
If only they had a signal mast...

People blindly promote giffgaff, always comparing other contracts to the £10 goodybag.
To get a similar amount of minutes as this tariff (which a lot of people do need more than 250 minutes) you'd either be paying £20/£25 p/m for (800/1500 mins).
On the contrary most people do not use > 1GB data, so this is a better deal.
Compare like for like and you'll see that virgin have a call centre, have less problems and are cheaper.
Yes GiffGaff offer "unlimited" data but they still kick people off for using "too much" data and don't really outline what is "too much", atleast with this you're clear on what is the limit.
With t mobile and find the signal brilliant and this is a good deal!!

Depends what you need.
I only use 100-150 mins a month max but i use about 3-5GB in data. So no over network comes close for me.

eeeerrrrr, most people.

But not ALL people (certainly not me - 14 mins last month!), so will be the better deal for some.
How good is their network? I was with Orange and it was terrible. Im assuming they use T Mobile / Orange network.
I ended up moving to Tesco Mobile which uses O2 which is a lot better. I didn't even have any problems when 02 network went down.
Make sure you actually activated orange on your t-mobile sim

Big up for giffgaff again. £10 deal is cracking, excellent signal everywhere. I read these 1000/2000 minute deals and laugh. Some people are talking too much.
I cant believe people talk that much - must be women mostly (sorry!) 250 minutes is a massive amount of time to be on the phone, and that nonsense about people being kicked off for overuse of their data is absolute nonsense.

women.
This is a very good deal. Going to be getting the new iPhone and was looking for a good SIM-only deal to use with it - Giffgaff was looking like the best, but this has just beaten it. £2 more expensive, but with a lot more minutes, and I wouldn't need more than a gig of data a month.

Just hope it's still available by the time the new iPhone's announced, whenever that is!

Everything, everywhere (except Skeggy)

But on the upside you can get some decent fish and chips at Skegness.
giffgaff rocks and if you only use 14 minutes a month then you should be on Asda Mobile - a £20 top up lasts my dad over 6 months but he always has a phone on him. Uses his phone only when he needs it when out and about, otherwise at home with his home phone.
Thanks for this x

Massive sweeping statement there.
If you use you're phone for business (not just self employed, calling clients back etc.) then it's very easy to use a high amount of minutes.
I also travel around England frequently on business and when away I found myself using my phone a lot more than 250 minutes.

You're really telling me you find it hard to believe people use their phone more than 9 minutes a day?

Each to their own but I think 1200 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB data, with a call centre & stores, is better value for money than 250 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data, considering you're getting 5x the amount of minutes and anyone using more than 5GB of data (5x what's offered in this contract) is definitely in the minority of users.
great deal,voted hot.
If people are on existing sim only deals you can be changed to this one x

I was on the £15 a month one everything the same as above but for 600 mins just rang up saving myself £3 a month and got double the minutes for it!!! X
Yep, same as showstopper81. I use a lot if data, but hardly any minutes. So giffgaff's £10 goodybag is perfect for me.

As far as I know, giffgaff's data is truly unlimited. I have a friend who uses probably 10-20gb a month and giffgaff haven't said a thing to him.

i would order now. and get it reduced after 3 months
problem with new iphone is going to be how to extract a nano-sim out of a standard one

I have used 11 GB and they cut the gprs service.
I had to write to them and ask for reconnection.
That was my second warning

Excellent deal, but my £7.50 p/m 120mins, 500 texts and 500mb Virgin tariff does me fine.

Anyway, voted hot.
