Hudl2 was released this week for £129 and is in the Boost meaning that you can use £65 of clubcard vouchers. Now there is a £15 off £75 existing customer code TDXR-WRTP (Credit Nathan94) which reduces the Hudl to £114.

***The code may not work for everybody. Tesco have been sending out £15 off £75 codes by email so please add to the thread as believe there are different codes****

With the Hudl2 you also get £60 of vouchers including:
• £25 free blinkbox credit to spend on movies, books and music
• £10 off F&F when you spend £50
• £10 off Tesco Direct when you spend £50
• £15 of Tesco.com when you spend £60
• 10 free 4 x 6” photos when you buy 50 at Tesco Photo

if your budget doesn't stretch to a Hudl2 you could always opt for a Hudl 1st generation which is £64 with the code. Link in comments.

p.s. If your an existing customer and bought at the £129 price or £65 clubcard vouchers (or bought any product from Tesco Direct for £75 in the last month), try live chat to see if they will refund the difference. It's not guaranteed but worth a try.

Awesome share

when do the next lot of Tesco points get converted?

there is a code to get £5 off a case.

looking for something for my 3 & 4 year old, would these be good for games? is the hull one good? what is the difference?

only thing about this that's putting me off this tablet is the tesco bloatware

its not too bad, i use a different launcher to hide all the junk but overall pretty good considering how bad other companies are

you have one page dedicated to tesco and a few apps, hardly bloatware. other than that it is standard KitKat android.

Ahhrrr, £15 off code doesn't work on my account, only have working £10 code, really tempted by this offer to trade my Nexus 7 2012.

My Tegra 4 Note tablet is still faster than this piece of Tesco garbage

Aaaragh! I'm massively torn after recently buying a hudl for my 6 year old, it's been put up for Christmas, do I see if they'll refund the difference as it's £20 cheaper now or return and get the hudl2???? Heat added btw great deal!

The £15 voucher doesn't work, it says "This eCoupon is linked to another customer account and it can only be used in that account"

your note lol

might be but for the price it's a bargain and my Ipad is quicker than

Looks like the voucher doesn't work for everyone.

These types of deals need to be in their own section; rather than posting everything on the website with the voucher applied for a new price.

Anyone had a chance to have a go with these yet? Trying to recommend a good android tablet for my young nephew. Dad wants parental controls which this seems to have baked in.

7 inch screen on Tegra ? so its smaller ? so not a 8.3 inch screen so your point is o.O ? lol
we are not talking about 7" tablets here

Why has this been brought back?
Codes don't work. Only work for targetted customers, otherwise an error code reads, "Tied to another customer's account".

It's the modern world and plenty of parents have forced their kids in to being child prodigies in various fields such as music and sport. I would consider the sociability aspect of these devices, then again if every other kid is using one then that goes out of the window.

We're already seeing that giving kids access to technology means we must educate ourselves as parents, I see way too many kids that have posted videos on youtube for example and they've put their facebook details in the link. That is serious it means that predators have access to their location. The very recent "The Snappening" I urge caution in looking for this, it indicates the seriousness of privacy invasion, The Snappening is leaked Snapchat videos and pictures many of which are from children as young as 10. It may not reveal their location but their private data is online for everyone to see, including many of a sexual nature.

It's not scaremongering, the Internet is the greatest feat of human engineering the world has known, it means we educate ourselves to protect ourselves and our children. I fully endorse the Internet, it means we need to evolve with it.

Is this going to affect a 3 or 4 year old in terms of The Snappening or Youtube, absolutely not, but consider the social negativity of using phones and tablets at such a young age.

Hi I have bought a hudl2 but cant see any additional vouchers i.e. Blinkbox or money of fnf etc. any help

no codes working at all here now

It's true. Early years should be spent exploring their 3-dimensional environment. Just think of all those developmental milestones missed.

The tesco boost does not double the discount when i add them, for me, very odd. Voucher for £15 off works though.

Inside both the HUDL and HUDL2 boxes is a booklet with codes - £10 off £50 spend for new customers on Tesco Direct, money off F&F and Blinkbox. this isn't a new offer at all. Just rehashed old information. And limited to only a few targeted customers.

missleading

So Minecraft needs to be installed? Is that what you're saying?

good, heat added but on both my accounts doesnt work

Santa gave my son a hudl last christmas. We were force to get a replacement (which resulted in him losing all his games) because of a faulty charging socket which i've learnt is a very common fault with the original hudl. It came with a 12 month guarantee and after 13 months the replacement has now developed the same fault. Hopefully the hudl 2 has fixed this fault but I'd stay clear of buying the original hudl at any price.
