So iv been looking for a new laptop and just spotted this on Ebay. Seems like a great deal to me. It has an SSD, 16gb ram, i7 Quad, GTX 1050ti and one year dell warranty. Thoughts?

HUKD used to allow ebay deals from sellers with 1000+ feedback, it may not be the same now but I had a few deals pulled in the distant past when the seller was relatively unknown.

This is a 15 year seller on ebay with decent feedback, so I would say this is probably an acceptable retailer for HUKD

Seller is a reputable shop on eBay. Purchased my XPS 15 from them a couple of years back. Great price and service. I assume they are an authorized dell business reseller. The eBay listings are unsold units.
Company registered office address : 1 Bowesville, Burnopfield, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE16 6DZ.
Incoporated : 31st March 2005. Private limited company.
Seems like a good deal.
Im sure this is the exact laptop that was £499 recently. Frigging scalpers. Let him dry

Doesn't seem that great given 1060s have gone for not much more recently?

I would have bit the hand off them for it at that price. Was that not the i5 with 1050 4gb though?

Yeah that one was an i5, no ssd and the 1050 was not a Ti. Was a cracking deal though. I actually had it in my basket to buy then everyone posted on here that their orders were cancelled.
Just saw this exact same laptop today USED being sold for £850 so this is a pretty good deal in my eyes.
Review below - apparently the early versions had a really CR*P screen. Later versions came with a good IPS screen.

Alas, cannot find anything on the eBay listing indicating which screen this has.

That review also says all models come with 256gb SSD yet the ebay listing says its 128gb strangely.

From the OP link blurb:-
"15.6 inch FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS Anti-Glare LED-Backlit Display Eye-catching 15.6" Dell wide-aspect displays deliver an impressive gaming and wide screen DVD viewing experience."
Whatis the difference between this and the 7577?
Just had a look at one of these in Currys for £849.99 with the 1050 Ti card. Impressive machine. Very fast. But the screen was a disappointment. I could not see any info whether it was the IPS or TN screen in Currys but it was not a nice screen at all IMPO.

Could email the seller to clear it up

Red available for £50 cheaper but it doesn't specifically mention and bolden the screen as being IPS as on the black one so maybe a horrible one.
I got this machine from Dell for around the same price not so long back. (Student discount cash back etc). It's an "ok" Machine.. i had some issues with the pc under performing and dell remote support team made it worse and removed alot of personal data without asking first. I tried to take back control when I noticed what they was doing but it was 2 late.

I'd hold off tbh. I regret throwing nearly 800 at it.
(Haven't voted hot or cold.)

@edit

I got the 256 + 1tb version.

If you do end up getting this pc or have it, I also would recommend keeping win 10 1703 build and not update to 1709 or later... for now. There are issues with freezing and stutter noticeable as soon as you update. I tried it again a few days ago as windows keeps nagging me and straight away went back to my older system restore image.

You can stop the nags by looking in task scheduler for the update assistant under update orchestrator.

It is an IPS screen. Similar gaming laptops specs in Currys have the same screen and they are "almost" as bad.

I think this issue of rubbish screens is particular to Matte Anti-Glare IPS & 120Hz TN panels .Seems to be a standard now on gaming laptops. I prefer Glossy IPS screens (which are not great with sunlight )
one other thing to point out one the inspiron 7567 is that it does not have thunderbolt port which is present on the 7577

Oddly enough, I have been thinking the same thing overnight. I really liked this laptop but the dull screen just put me off. I have been trying to think why it is and came to the conclusion that it is because the screen is matt and not glossy. Like you, I prefer glossy screens.

I couldn't help thinking that playing a game on it would look rather bland and lifeless. I played a video on YouTube on it - Game of Thrones promo - and then played the same video on other Dells and Lenovos nearby. Not only did the same video look far more vibrant and detailed on the other screens - i.e. you could see hair detail on beards and heads on the others - but it was simply far more enjoyable on the others.

A shame really as the screen does let down this laptop IMPO.
