Just noticed the Deal on here for this car on Car Quake.
This is £200 cheaper at £10,499
I ordered mine in feb at this price and also got a voucher from the vauxhall website for an extra £300 off.
My car has just arrived but it was worth the wait, i Love it.
Its only in Blue or red at this price but i paid an extra £100 for white.
I believe there is a lot of stock expected soon so the wait is now a lot shorter.

forgot to mention the vauxhall partner bit, my wife joined unison to qualify. if any friends or family that are members of unison or any other partner company then you also qualify. they always help you find a way.

Yeah, they'll give anyone 'partner' deals to get the sale.

Before anybody starts moaning about the car being a vauxhall or being underpowered can i ask what alternatives there are at this price for a large family?
Edited by: "dav700" 3rd Jun 2012

Dire (from experience), second hand Toyota, Citroen to name a few will last longer and have a lot better fuel and be diesel!

Yes. Slightly underpowered. But my Zafira was defo the best family car I have ever owned. The seating options were great. Never had to worry about my kids having room to bring a friend. Nothing compares at this price.

Citroen last longer !!! lol they have very poor build quality them and Renault get most AA call outs

so no new cars at this price with a 100,000 mile warranty then? just 2nd hand ones. I know people who have had bad expierence with toyotas and citreons but it doesn't mean they will all be bad?
I needed a big car, i wanted a NEW car and i had limited funds, this is a bargain you dont have to like the car to see that a 1.6l 7 seater car for 10500 is a bargain!

So this offer is not available at this price without the " Partner Discount "?

I am not a big fanboy of Vauxhall. I have a Honda Jazz but i do like the look of the new Ford B-Max coming to UK in September.

Ford often give good discounts because of their inflated list prices.

Zafira is worst car ever.

Like I said above, it's not some strict club, they tick the 'partners' button on their computer and you get the price.

the wife works in the health service and switched from 1 union to another actually saved money. even if you had to join to qualify its not even a tenner a month then cancel after car arrives.

Value after 3 years? 26% of retail...!

I bought my wife one the other week and she loves it. I got the extra 300 pounds off voucher from the vauxhall website. Plus I got free metallic black paint and free diamond brite.

yeh looks good the way theyve done the centre pillar

big concern though "Ford B-MAX's twin sliding rear doors also offer added benefits in crowded streets or narrow parking bays when access via hinged doors could be awkward. The front and rear doors can be opened completely independently, so the front or rear cabin can be accessed as required."

what concerns me is selfish idiots will buy it. you know the ones who think people are skeletons and park really close to cars so they cant get out. i told off one idiot at legoland who had parked his people carrier with sliding down so close i couldnt open my cars doors to get in, nor could my son who was 7 at the time - even a skeleton wouldnt have got it - of course selfish moron could as he had sliding doors - what a div

Had a zafira from new for 3 years, did what it says on the tin. Good reliable motor that didnt miss a beat. Its not a racing car for sure but for someon who needs a good family motor this is an excellent price. Hot from me.

Not one for the badge snobs, you pay extra if you want.

what did you pay and what did you sell for.

It's not always about bade snobbery but simple common sense economics. Pay a little more now, get much more back later.

Vauxhalls are one of the worse depreciating cars going. I wish folk would look at the bigger picture.

you think your daughter is a peasant? That's not nice. Neither is 'get' a school-run van for a yoof, why did you feel the need to embarrass her. Is it because of your lowly opinion of her?

It is obvious that dave700 works at the dealership he has advertised on here in the link and his alter ego is rd3d2.Most dealerships will try to match offers advertised at other dealers. This offer does not include 0% finance at this price and does not state whether the car is a pre registered vehicle.Partners discount is not something"they will help" you to achieve .your direct family must be part of a listed organisation to be eligable.
Just an observation.

You've fallen for the car magazine spiel of quoting depreciation - magazines quote depreciation as a % of the full RRP and not the transaction price. So if I buy a £20k S-Max and drive it for 3 years it might be worth 9-10k = 10k depreciation. Buy one of these for 10.5k and if it's worth 5k then that's 6k depreciation with a far lower capital outlay.

This is a £10.5k Vauxhall that will still be worth 5-6k in 3 years time assuming average mileage and condition. That's 6k for 3 years of warranted motoring which is pretty good in my book for a brand new car. I gave my near 10 year old Zafira to my Mum and Dad and that booked out on Glass's at £2.7k.

doesn't your logic apply to all brands? The ratio's are still the same.

You've fallen for Vauxhalls spiel and convinced yourself that budget cars are a good investment.

I will hand it to them that they've suckered folk into thinking the lifetime buyer warranty is something of value when in reality it will cost them very little as most owners get rid within normal warranty periods anyway.

The ratios may be the same, but you're advocating spending more on another make, and then taking a bigger hit on deprecation. With this car already reduced there is a lower capital hit on depreciation - you mentioned common sense economics!

I got Evans Halshaw to match the price then asked Bristol Street what they could do to convince me to buy the car from them. The guy said free metallic paint, I said free metallic paint and free diamond brite and he said yes.

Had one as a company car at work last year, quite liked it. Hot deal but can't even dream of owning one of my own though, that's almost a year's wages for my poor ****

Parents paid 12k in March for theirs, they love it and was a bargain, the list for companies eligible for discount runs into at least 50. Well worth the money

brilliant for everything other than long distance driving with a full load., they struggle ...............

BUT as said what else is there......

Next one will be a larger engine size one for sure:)

excellent price though

Amazed at the snobbery on here which is largely based on "Man in the pub" (sorry, wine bar) gossip. It's not the greatest 7-seater but, at this price, is by far the best value and that's what this site is all about.
