I managed to get the camera one from ebuyer when it was £29.99 This version is normally between £29.99 to £44.99 so heat from me. But I am holding out for This

The battery life on RC vehicles is still rubbish - 30min charge for 9min play

You would think it would have improved by now

Some things that are rechargeable are good I have a small handheld vacuum cleaner and I only have to charge it once every few weeks and it gets lots of use

It has.

I'm sure when I was into Tamiya 1:10 type R/C cars in the late 80's we had to charge the battery packs for longer than 30 minutes. And I don't think we even got as much as 9 or 10 minutes out of them!

Guess it's all power to weight. Dunno what RPM these quadrocopters go at but if you add more weight, you need more power to lift it, so you need a bigger battery, which is more weight, which needs more power ..... etc etc.

I have a mk.1 Hubsan and the battery is actually pretty tiny. 9 minutes from it is really quite impressive.

4 and 6 kids? Do you live in a parallel dimension?

Handy for making a drop to mates on the inside when they just can't get enough

For the love of God, man! The battery weighs around 10g and it can convey itself from the ground to a few hundred feet for almost 10 minutes!

A Dyson DC16 battery weighs almost a pound, and it can't even get an inch off the ground!

You can also get 5 x new batts for less than a tenner for this.

here is the version with camera for £37.85:

ENjoy, this is great fun,

But all you will end up doing is seeing how high you dare to take it..., the camera version would help with this...

Link not working?

I have one of these and its a great little machine. You might want to get these too though (From Hong Kong so about 3 week delivery)

Banggood is a chinese site, but it's never let me down (Unlike DX and a couple of others) Postage is about 3 weeks to the uk.

I have rhe first version and the one with built in low res camera. Theyre awesome. Camera one was £39 on amazon, camera seems better than the fpv version, which is really poor.

Oh and buy several blades and a couple of batteries, you will crash and even with blade protector they will have chunks missing.
