Seen one of these on the road today & is a lovely looking car in the estate variant.

The Volvo V60 Sportswagon 2.0 T4 [190] Momentum Plus 5dr Auto sports a number of great features and technical specs plus is one of safest cars currently available.

Good discount & price includes 1st years road tax.

Spec includes:

  • Leather upholstery
  • Driver alert control with lane keeping aid
  • Oncoming Lane Mitigation
  • Automatic LED Headlights + Active high beam incorporating daytime running lights
  • Cruise control/speed limiter
  • Front park assist
  • Rear Park assist
  • Sensus connect high performance sound and internet service , USB,10 speakers/170W
  • Integrated roof rails in black
  • Solid paint
  • 2 zone electronic climate control with Clean zone air quality system + pollen filter
  • 18" 5 Y spoke black diamond cut alloy wheels
  • Tyre sealant kit + 12v compressor

3306886.jpgThere's a useful amount of space inside, thanks to longer dimensions than rivals - meaning six-footers can squeeze into the rear seats relatively comfortably.

At 529 litres, the boot's one of the biggest in its class, while dropping the rear seats increases this to 1441 litres. Every V60 features an electric rear tailgate, while a wide opening with no lip helps when loading bulky.

This includes a fuel economy of MPG combined and 157 g/km CO2 emissions from the 4 cylinder, 1969 CC engine with a 8 speed gear box. This produces 190 BHP with a top speed of 137 MPH and a 0 to 62 time of 7.2 seconds. The car fits into insurance group 32E.

A lot of car for the money and I agree it is a good looking car. Heat from me
All that tech and no spare wheel......Really, I wonder which would be more useful when the brown stuff is hitting the fan on a religious holiday in a place in Europe where......I give up, just put a spare wheel on the thing and it might make it practical once again!

i drive past one of these for sale at my local volvo garage at least once a day very good looking estate car
@ShaneDarch decent deal. Voted hot.

Have you got anything on an Alhambra, Sharan or S-Max with decent spec? I can’t find anything decent on a lease. Need a 7 seater but don’t want to risk French and don’t like the Ford Galaxy.

157 g/km CO2
Not sure if I am understanding, but does that mean £530 tax every year? Ouch

This or V90?

This or V90?

I’m sitting in a very loaded V60 right now. Absolutely love the car, mine is a D4 Momentum Pro Auto, with lots of added extras.

Were it not for the great deal I got. I’d have bought a V90 Momentum Plus. The V90 comes with Pilot Assist as standard, which is the adaptive cruise control and steering assistance.

It really depends on what your after. For me I do prefer the smaller body and the spec I bought. New the V90 out the box is a better spec.
Looks good until I added £10k of extras 🙈
Lease!

Have a look at the Volvo Seleckt used. I paid this price for mine at 12months old. The P11d price was £45k. The B&W Infotainment lights my face up every time I crank it up.

Lovely car, but I found the cabin to feel really claustrophobic. The audio and audio interface were great, really impressive: but that massive lump of black plastic box wizzadry that sits behind the rear view mirror on the screen felt like an afterthought, one which I found quite annoying: always in line of sight and I felt restricted my view somewhat.

I had the D4 though, which pulled like a train and it looked the danglies. I’m not a Volvo hater, had quite a few myself and in the family over time (I’m currently looking at an ‘89 440 GLTi as a project as this was my first car!), but for practicality, the V60 just didn’t cut it for me. Looks however, spot on!

Its my 1st ever nationwide vehicle post ... So talk about conspiracy theory's (ps elvis is still alive and living in Woking)
starting to prefer these over the v90 for normal use and replacement of the v70.

Not yet though eh, there's still plenty of bullet proof second hand gems for a 20th of the price.

Firmly on my list in the future

What people don't seem to realise is that if you get this deal you actually own this car, much better to get a lease.
I don't get the fashion for these fancy auto gearboxes.

Firstly they are poor for fuel consumption and secondly they cost thousands when they go wrong.
The previous V60 had a terrible record for reliability and I personally paid the price for that. I don't think the new model has been out for long enough to judge if it's improved, so I would avoid buying this outright.

What like AUDI or BMW, that came out the worst for faults in the JD Powers/Parkers report?
Thanks for this

It however you want to take it.
If you think it a good price for the product, then surely a deal. Or am I missing something?

Wow a spy car. Now I've got to have it 007.

Modern autos aren’t bad for fuel consumption and don’t too often go wrong. If they do yes expensive to fix, but it’s not a common thing.

I don’t think Volvo’s auto is a great one though. Recently had it in an XC40 hire car. Smooth enough but slow witted when you needed some urgency from it. Nowhere near as good as a VW DSG or BMW 8 speed ZF.

No you’re not missing anything. It’s just that there’s nothing special about this offer from Nationwidecars. Other variants of the V60 as well as dozens of other cars are offered at similar discounts by Nationwide (not to mention Drivethedeal, Coast2coast, Carwow and others) so I didn't understand the reason for highlighting this particular one.

I did the same with my S90 R-Design Pro. I bought it for £27k, the list price was £58k. It was 7 months old and absolutely loaded with all the extras.
There's drivers who wait for ever at a completely empty roundabout holding up all the traffic, until a car comes from the other lane, and then pull out in front of it. There's drivers who do 35mph in a 60mph limit holding up all the traffic, and when it changes to 30mph carry on doing 35mph. There's drivers who do 15mph in a 30mph limit holding up all the traffic and then suddenly dive into a side street with no indication almost hitting a pedestrian. (All real events I've seen in the past three months).

But apart from those drivers, does anybody actually buy a Volvo?
Driving an s90 as a hire car right now and they are horrible to drive.. The automatic is sooo hesitant its almost dangerous for overtaking.
i have a V50 D2 and while the fuel economy is very good the seats are a tad uncomfortable on long drives. My second Volvo and most likely my last.

What a random rant
You can't argue with figures like these..

The S/XC/V90 has been out for 3 years now. They are the same platform as the V60. Same engines, drivetrain and electronics.
Obviously the body is different.
While Volvo isn’t high on the rankings, few of the ‘Premium’ brands are.

The Polestar upgrade helps a lot. However it should be standard, the box can be sluggish.
