New Xbox One controller (v2) price glitch/mistake £34.99 Tesco (Yeovil), possible £26.99 with DTD

POSSIBLE
£26.99 REGARDING KRIS1234. WHEN YOU PAY FULL PRICE, FIND LOWER IN STORE
AND COMPLAIN ABOUT BEING OVERCHARGED. SIMPLY TELL TESCO TO DTD.
\x0a\x0a\x0a\x0aPLEASE READ THROUGH BEFORE YOU DOWNVOTE OR POST SILLY
COMMENTS. THIS IS NOT A PROPER DEAL, IT'S JUST A PRICING MISTAKE IN
TESCO YEOVIL. MAY BE AVAILABLE IN OTHER STORES. \x0a\x0a\x0a\x0aSo I
went down to Tesco Yeovil to buy new controller. Been aware of price
gone up to £42.99 but my old controller stopped working yesterday night
and just needed to get new one (old out of warranty). And I had £15 of
vouchers to spend, so could barely handle the price.\x0a\x0a\x0a\x0aGone
to store and seen the price on the shelf being updated after Black
Friday/Cyber Monday deal, however I've found the card/leaflet (the same
you have for pre-order games) priced at £34.99. Taken it to click and
collect point, clerk got the controller for me, came up at £42.99 on a
till but they've honoured the price shown on the shelf's
sticker.\x0a\x0a\x0a\x0aProbably they've updated their price in Yeovil,
however you may want to take a look while doing you day-to-day shopping
in your store as brand new controllers going up on price at eBay and
Amazon.\x0a\x0a\x0a\x0aPicture of receipt included. \x0a\x0a\x0a\x0aGood
luck. Hope I'll help someone out here.

Do you have the barcode?

Do you have the barcode?

They said the barcode is same for both, just priced differently on the shelf.

Is there another barcode on the box this one doesn't seem to work

Thank you. Wasn't aware. Googled it now and seems like it's difficult to force them to DTD. However, good to know. Thanks again.

very easy to get it.

Should have paid the higher price, then popped to customer service and told them you been overcharged. If the lable on the shelf was offering at a lesser cost then they usually pay back double the difference on overcharges.

don't think so. you need to pay scanned price first and then complain about lower price on shelf. they need to confirm and return dtd.

OK, thank you. Will be aware next time. Let myself update the thread with your suggestions.

Not a deal, std would apply to EVERYTHING in store if priced incorrectly/sel not changed.

*Dtd.

STD on everything? going to avoid Tesco from now on

I bought this last week online and was instore at £34.99. I noticed it did go up literally a day or two after I bought it. I don't think its a glitch, I reckon they haven't changed the price.

Sure in my local the blue was £34.99 but black and red were £29.99
