Also in Coop at same price. Eating one right now. Have some heat, not too much though or they will burn, like my first try.

Has anybody else noticed that there is less cinnamon in these, along with other brands too? Once over you could realy smell and taste it, not any more, yes it's still there but only just.
these are so much better than the supermarket own brands

worth buying at this price. although they are annoying to butter, with the hole in the middle!
Love these thanks. Shame the stopped making the garlic ones
Love of bread and diets don’t go hand-in-hand sadly. Heat
Bit annoying these aren't sliced, compared to the Warburton ones

The ones in Coop are my friend
I took mine back to Tesco as they had a hole in the middle.
Warbies got nothing on NY's Sesame bagels. NYs sesame to bun ratio is a mathematical marvel. £1 in Asda also. Toastayy

The warburton ones are very dry due to being sliced
Heat added OP I love a bagel 🔥 What's an everything bagel?

Until recently I have bought the cinnamon and raisin variety for many years but lately they have changed significantly and are packaged as longer life and I find they are stodgy, very chewy to the point they are difficult to eat and lacking in flavour compared to how they used to be. I can see here that some prefer these, but I have started buying Warburton's and find them more palatable. I don't know if it's an experiment or if they market both types. It's a good deal for them though if you like them, so heat added.

If Cinnamon and Raisin is your thing try Aldi's own 87p for 5.
Softer than these new stodgy tough NY Bagels and more Cinnamon for your buck.
In my humble opinion anyway - bit of a cinnamon fiend 😬
Why all this worry about the cinnamon ones when the sesame ones are unbelievably good!
Great price but there are this price at loads of stores when on offer on a regular basis? Also definately not worth a dedicated trip to the supermarket in the current climate for this!

I tried but my finger keeps slipping through the hole
I just bought a pack for £1.60 literally 10 mins ago😡
For those it matters:
Contains Spirit vinegar. Not halal!
Lidl bagels far nicer and more affordable.
I bought the red onion and chive to try. Very nice.
Never understood what to do with these - they are just dry, dense bready things. I know I must be missing something.....
Get Warburtons ones they're already sliced lol

Its permissible. Look it up

There are many versions in permissibility. However, in fermentation nobody can guarantee 100% of alcohol has been evaporated and whatever is haram in large quantity (volume) is also haram in small quantity (volume).
I always buy 2 packs of the original ones when they're £1. One in the fridge and one in the freezer so they last longer. Cut them in half, chuck them in the toaster and then butter and marmite 🤤 heat!

With the marmite cream cheese from M&S, they're a thing of beauty.
Those Warburtons ones that they brought out to compete are awful, these are the best on the market.
Great price
Red onion and chive is lovely

The ones in our local Coop are longer life ones. Says something like 'stay fresh for longer' on the front of the pack.
They didn't

That's a very literal translation of the verse by which technically one can't take any medicines either as most, if not all, are harmful in excess.

No one eats bagels for the alcohol content.

And who says medicine with alcohol are halal???
Unless you have got solid evidence and reference, don't think your point is valid.

I meant medicine in general, paracetamol for example. Harmful in excessive quantities. So by your definition, you wouldn't be allowed one tablet either.

Nope. You've got it wrong then. My definition is whatever has been declared haraam is haraam, regardless of quantity or volume.
Taking more or less medicines, is not a haraam act.
