Oh my I so sorry, what was I doing! it is a 5 pack 10 Bagels are £2.00 and 4 Bagels are £1.00 thanks for making me check
Lidl are doing 4 bagels for 69p so I'll probably give them a try........
Let me know how they taste we can do a Bagel review here what do you say? I agree about the Tesco own brand ones not worth the monies
The Lidl ones that I bought a few days ago were excellent!!
This our review of Bagels has begun currently we have New York Bagels and Lidl Bagels being voted hot and Tesco Bagels on the cold side anyone who wishes to add their experiences on other brands please add your thoughts
Thank you for your experience of the product, New York Bagels are leading the race currently
Asda ones tasted better than the Tesco ones
Thanks Twe we have New York Bagels in first place, followed by Asda and Lidl Bagels with Tesco in last place
I even have the Cheese to go with it Here and the yoghurt Here thats a proper New Yorkers Breakie! Got to feel like a New Yorker before our voyage
Agreed i love the Lidl ones
I once tried Sainsbury's bagels, onion ones (from the bakery). They were bad, they were like buns lacking that distinctive bagel crispiness. They crumbled a lot. Tastewise they were ok, but they were not bagels.
But then I tried NY wholemeal, and a Limited Edition NY (with blueberries). Both of them didn't have the plain bagel crispiness as well, so I tend to believe only plain bagels (and probably sesame ones) have the crispiness.
So, I have an apples-to-oranges comparison here between NY and Sainsbury's bagels. But just a thought for those that like the bagel crispiness
Lidl ones are on special offer from today - they've knocked a whopping 10p off (69p for 4).
I agree with that completely. I tried switching to wholemeal but they just weren't as good. After trying the plain ones I have to say they beat the seaseme ones hands down, but they're the next best thing. Haven't tried any other brand yet, but I probably likely won't!
I've been to that place is it the open 24 hour place got to admit those are nice with cream cheese please
You're right about the Cheese and Jalapeno's ones!! I do buy those sometimes myself
Ill be refering to your crispiness test!!! You are right about the plain ones being crispy on the outside and nice and soft in the inside
Smoking I have heard these are quite something
Boom Boom Pow!! You are my bagel buddy!!! That is one hell of a combo, its like so creamy and just delicious
Oh how could I forget the Brick Lane place, everyone needs to try it, its just amazing!! Let me try and find it on the internet
This is the place right Certifcate of Excellance with a 4.5 Rating on Trip Advisor
I actually prefer the bagels from the less popular shop a few doors down. Lovely salt beef and pickle bagel. But they are both better than NY bagels imo.
Thanks for the tip I shall have to keep an eye out for this place What is it called?
