Great prices Chichi, thanks for all the info and heat added

I'd prefer New York to North Korea. oO

Meh. Will pass on New York, too similar to London. California is the place to be

This is actually expensive in my opinion. I booked with BA in September for November last year, got 5 nights in an intercontinental 15 mins walk to Times Square + return flights for £600!

Thanks for that chanchi

not strictly true as you still have to pay £35 per person

There was a sale 5 months ago, where the fee was reduced to £1 so assume they may run that again this year as some point

The fee was reduced to a very limited number of airports. Once. I don't think assuming it will come up again is very wise.

A little bit cheaper here if you don't mind flying without a bag etc - Also has a lone traveller price too

The words of someone who's clearly never been to either for long enough to pass comment on them

As a Londoner who spends a lot of time in New York, they're both incredibly unique places. There's far more to both than the tourist traps

New York is awesome, like totally awesome, London is ok.

God bless America....

Is 3 days enough time to spend in New York for a first timer, who doesn't want to be away from the kids too long, but really wants to experience New York before I'm too old!

5 days at least if you're not planning on going back anytime soon. it's takes about 2-3 full days to see the main attractions, but you'll want to spend time milling around the districts such as greenwich village which I find is the most enjoyable.

I really agree with this. We went for 9 days I think, and it still wasn't enough time!!!
