When I first saw the photo I thought it was advertising a trip from Newcastle to Cardiff or Glasgow! False advertising

tui profiteer from people with children as all their flights and holidays …tui profiteer from people with children as all their flights and holidays triple in price the week later when the kids are off total joke.

Supply remains static, demand increases significantly, prices increase. Shock, horror, someone call Moulder and Skully

As you're a member of this site, I presume you screwed them over for the best deal possible before you had kids? You know, the other parts of the year when demand is significantly below supply and they scratch around for custom.

After all, I don't see you complaining its the tight wads on this thread, who lead to higher prices during school hols.

If you want to go “posh” go to the west coast but (we have been five times) we have found a great hotel near oistins - a £15 taxi ride from the airport and a short but hot walk to a supermarket - butterfly beach

Hotelscombined is a good way to check the usual suspects.

TripAdvisor has got better. So since I use it to pick a hotel anyway, I put my dates in so I can see prices aswell as rank/review.

In both cases go through TCB/Quidco when making the actual purchase.

For restort type destinations, Travel Agents can have better rates then Hotels sites. Especially when you are looking at HB/FB/AI/etc. So worth checking the big guys (for example TUI/etc have many Canary Island hotels locked up during peak periods), but also worth checking destination specialists. You can find recommendations via Trip Advisor and other Travel forums.

Kenwood Travel and Value Added Travel are a couple i've used more recently (not sure if they are good for Carribean) and they were quite a bit cheaper then anywhere else for the board basis I wanted.

Will they show the Tui adverts? Would be worth more not to see that.

I'm sure you've commented tongue in cheek but I see where your coming from as the train fares to the departure airports is probably the same as the flights
Fail to mention you have to pay, £60 a suitcase

Try Booking.com

Stayed at Coral Sands Beach Hotel..... fantastic if self catering. Fab beach almost felt like our own private beach. At that price, go for it
