Out of date. Has a Premier League Logo on it!!!!! :w00t:

lmao:-D

:whistling: really?

If you buy this shirt yon WON'T be watching any of the following players in 2009/10. Obafemi Martins, Michael Owen and Fabricio Coloccini.

Still Dreaming NUFC? Time to wake up and smell the coffee, otherwise you'll be playing leeds Utd in League 1

I cant see what the problem is, I am looking forward to the 'mighty' Newcastle coming to Swansea next season...

I am sure I heard a Newcastle fan on the radio last week, saying that the club were too big to go down. I recall Leeds saying the same thing - 3 seasons in League 1...

I wouldn't wear one in Newcastle - Shearer will grab you and give you a game

Yea leeds playing champions league football giving barca and so on and race for there money only to be in league 1 seasons later for yonks..

Newcastle are not big but there supporters are very very passionaite. Either up or down for them in the championship next season.

This isn't even cheap?

I think it was mainly aimed at making the castle fans feel even worse.

Yes just a trolling thread.

Great players like...Fabricio Coloccini

Gags like that are worth £35 on their own

Thing with Leeds, it was nailed on once we sold our players one by one, it was hardly any secret our huge debt so was in inevitable really, the Leeds fans banging on about been 'too big to go down' were in the minority and clearly out of their minds (or simply didnt attend any games - if you did the signs were there).

Surprisingly with Newcastle they've got relegated before they've had to sell any star names whatsoever or had any debt on Leeds scale which is quite an amazing feat.

'Big' clubs go down, while others go up, its the cycle of football. Every club has a few years of hell followed by a few years of success. Well done to the likes of Swansea, Burnley, Doncaster, Stoke who are going through golden periods in their histories.

As for Leeds, well nobody likes us and we don't care!

EDIT: How come this deal isn't getting 'hot' surely that would be better?! Heat Added!

Leeds gambled on being in the ECC every year. This shirt is through till the 10-11 season by which time we will be in the (bluesquare) premier league. £35 quid ain't a good price, and I wouldn't buy it from Ashleys sports direct. The Northern Rock (going down together) deal runs until the end of the 09-10 campaign so the strip may remain but the sponsor will change

they say success breeds success, lets start with the newcastle utd sponsors........

it isnt a cheap shirt im sure it is cheaper elsewhere which is why im voting cold.

as hot as the northerners prospects for the future

Do you get championship patches with this?

You know who actually sent Newcastle down, their legend Kevin Keegan

The guy chickened out the loser, just because he couldnt get his money he wasnt promised.

If geordie's really, really think about it,If he had stayed they would have been mid table at least and stable, something to build on. What's more important pride or survival, he sent them down this route and no offence to the people of Newcastle but none of ya wont have a bad word said about him but he's won ya nothing and tbh never ever would have done, only think hes done for Newcastle is send them down.

Love the way he blames everyone else bar himself, he was the same at liverpool everyone in the background at pool though he was a right you know what.

He caused all the upheaval and manager changes this season, its his fault and was in it only to get their cash to bail out his footballing company.

What a load of rubbish, Keegan left in Sept. '08, yet Newcastle have their fate sealed in the LAST game of the season!

Ashley put them down, what a circus the transfer window was - big promises, small actions. Also if Shay Given had stayed, there is no way they wouldn't have got the one point they needed in some game or other. Ashley is a loser.

Funny though ;-)

The biggest laughing stock in football lol, next seasons messiah ?

Dont be fooled into thinking we thought we were too big to go down. The majority of us expected it and had been for a while. The clubs fate was not sealed on the last game of the season, there were 37 other games in the season where points had to be picked up. Again keegan spat his dummy out of the pram and abandoned ship which left us in the mire. Then Joke Kinnear came in and turned us into the draw specialists and then so on and so on.
Not to bothered to be honest about playing in the championship looking forward to hopefully seeing the likes of owen and co jumping ship and the younger players like carroll and ranger (if we can hold on to them aswell) getting their chance to play.

With regard to the post, if it was a serious post, then its not really a good deal for the shirt, i for one wont be buying it as i think its awful and the northern rock deal as stated is up at the end of next season so the shirt will change in some form. *I have just actually clicked on the link to the shirt, noticed theres a £10 voucher there and the bit about watching the players is actually on the website itself.

agree with you the damage to the team and club was long before this season and over many years. Too many average or below players bought at inflated prices. Buying the likesof Joey Barton and Alan Smith sums it up!

hahahaha

GET IN YOU CLARETS!

Gutted we won't be playing at St. James' Park, as I'd love to get some of the atmosphere up there - let's hope we get you in the cup!

£35?

Is the club thrown in for free?

lot of very jealous people on here, yer we are pony and deserve to be relegated just alone for our player recruitment but your not telling me that u must envy the fanbase, size of ground and passion that only a few teams could match.

What is there to be jealous of?

All this talk of passion, size of fanbase etc is a load of media manipulated cobblers...

You're a victim of your own lack of success - a self styled 'big club' just cause you've attracted attendances of over 20,000 for a couple of decades, what's the latest thing on your honours list? One FA Cup win in 1954?

Spot on!

Only 162,857 sales of these needed to cover the cost of the transfer of Xisco. Or indeed 32,571 per appearance.

Howay the sads

20,000

, add another 30,000 to that and u might get near. The foundations are there to be one of the biggest clubs in the world, just need the right management. we,ll be back.

In recent years yes... lets see how many turn up next year, i'm no fan of leeds but at least there attendances have hardly ever dipped below 20,000 unike yours..

when have ours dipped below 20,000? who are u a fan of?

1981, 1982, from 1986 - 1992 they averaged just over 20,000... of course 92 was the return of Messiah 1, when you went on to win... hang on... [GOOGLES IT] yep, sod all!

Since when was having a big crowd the stand out point of a big club? There's a hardly a massive concentration of football clubs in the North East and there's nothing else to do come saturday...

well, Season 1947-48 (Division Two) they averaged 56,299 so put that in u pipe and smoke it if u want to go down that road.

And before Keegan came half the ground was levelled for a few years while they were rebuilding.

And theres no a concentration of clubs in the NE but thres not a concentration of people either. Theres 250,000 in Newcastle, theres 8 million in London. This one team city nonsense doesn't work. Spurs for example has more potential supporters than Newcastle even with 10 other clubs in London.

good deal so voted hot, it's a nice shirt actually, too nice for the championship !
