  • 【New Version】 Ender-3 PRO is an upgraded version of Ender-3, comes with the Meanwell power supply and new platform sticker, also redesigned the aluminum extrusion. The Ender-3 PRO boasts the same outstanding performance as the Ender-3, upgraded components make Ender-3 PRO more stable, durable and more comfortable to operate.
  • 【MeanWell Power Supply】 The power supply is now from Mean Well, a brand known for its reliability in electronics for over 35 years. The brand power supply delivers more power with a stable output ensuring the temperature fluctuations are minimized, especially during long and intensive prints. Heat the hotbed faster and to higher temperatures before making the Ender 3 Pro a much better option for printing ABS and other high-temperature high strength filaments.
  • 【More Stable】 Redesigned with a much more sturdy, 40x40 aluminum extrusion for the Y-axis base. This provides stability for the printing process, leading to better print quality. Also, better bearing wheels deliver more stiffness, reduce friction, and give overall better dimensional stability. This and some broad rubber feet also help to reduce the noise level.
  • 【Superior Printing Surface】 A new state of the art “C-MAG” magnetic sticker is designed for Ender-3 PRO, it is entirely removable, flexible and can better adhere to the platform. Once the model is finished printing, remove the magnetic upper from the lower and bend or flex the print surface to watch the model effortlessly pop off the printing surface.
  • 【What You Get】Ceality Ender 3 Pro 3D pinrter, lifetime professional technical assistance and 24 hours professional customer service.

Isn't this just the normal price?
Is it worthe the extra $15 for the Pro X with the magnetic bed and extra nozzles?
Can it print a 3D girlfriend? just asking on behalf of a friend of mine. Who knows science can do weird things these days!

This comes with the magnetic build plate anyway unless it's an extra spare? I wouldn't bother with the pro x. You can buy nozzles cheap enough!

What would I need to scan car parts. Some plastic parts for my car can no longer be sourced. Wondering if I could scan a good one and make copies?

I would check the Internet first, chances are someone's already done that and you could just download the parts.

Try thingiverse.com

Failing that there is 3d scanners out there but I've not personally used or seen one in action.

Nice blog! Consider additional lighting when you are taking the pictures.

Cheers. It's more for me because my memory is so shocking, so I can look back and see what I did when using different filaments etc. But I'm trying to get better images. Most were snapped on the fly just using my phone.
What's it like to run in electric does it cost a lot to run with it taking a while to print

If youre scanning you would need a 3d scanner...
Not cheap

It's also no fun having to sort the file in CAD so you can print it. Time consuming and basically doing the reverse of making your own.
But it's a learning experience

Thanks, just bought for £172.22 using the $3 off and paying in USD with a fee free card.

Not a lot at all. Mine draws 200w full load and often drops to about 50w. It uses an average of 1kw per 16/20 hour print though which sounds a lot but works out at about 13p for me so not too bad.

Nice. What fee free card are you using? It won't let me link my starling or Monzo card to my account for some reason.

Some phones have the functionality built in to do crude 3d scans. I've seen examples from some Huawei and Samsung phones, they're fairly crude results but could be used as a starting point to input into 3D software for further modelling.

You know that Kim Kardashian bird! not real she's 3D printed?
I bought a EasyThread Nano and starting to really enjoy 3D printing so I bought a Flashforge Adventure 3 too. Been looking for larger beds now. Something like the Ender 5 Plus.
Ordered! I've seen people recommend different springs? And all aluminium hot ends? Can anyone share links to recommended upgrades for a newbie and I'll be printing car parts mainly so do I need abs?

Did you pay customs when ordering from Ali Express?

Not at all. You select Germany as the dispatch country so its coming from within the EU no customs fees
Also little off topic, a laser cutter is pretty good tool and I would say more useful than a 3d printer!

Any links to any recommended laser cutter? They intrugue me and it might be somethig ill look to get into in the future.
Saying it's more useful is a little harsh though. It's peas and carrots. Two totally different things. Usefulness is only guaged by the user and what their needs are.

That's true... I'm not intending to be harsh. I love a 3d printer - they're great! I use a makerbot and a object and they're wonderful machines and very useful for bespoke pieces.

I use a helix mini for laser cutting. It's very good to cut for test boxes and machine / equipment housing.
Helix mini is very expensive though. Would love to get a cheaper one from AliExpress to see how they perform.
Looked at adding to basket came up £240
Thanks. Finally could not resist. Ordered.
