why cold.... it shud be hot hot. .

People queue up to buy stuff brought in just for the sale. generally second rate garbage too.

I find the clothes for children under 6 years old is good, but everything else is rubbish!

My joke that none of my family find funny anymore:

Someone asks, after completing the first stage of a task "what's next?" My reply: "a shop" (boom boom) (obligatory eye roll).

I hate Next: a shop full of proletariat trying to be bourgeoisie, while spending way too much money on overpriced stuff, but still not realising that you can't purchase social standing. Come back to your roots and find better bargains on here, that's what I say!

The people that benefit are the ones that have pre booked slots. Don't know how they get the slots, but apparently they are the ones who get the bargains and the rest of us are left with nothing decent to choose from :

Next clothes for kids are absolutely s***e in terms of quality, and the men's clothes seem to be aimed at 50 year olds.

Is the in store sale the same as online? Nothing I was looking at before the sale has gone on sale. Is it the same instore?

I used to work for Next & they do ship stock in, but they also put about 40% of current stock on. Never had a look at the stock brought in so could be more than 40%. The best deals are on kids clothes as they reduce a lot of it to a third of the price.

All these sad burgers camp out overnight outside my store !

The second half of your comment is a joke that might go down better.

Well my sister says there kids clothes are great quality n she should know shes got 15 of em to clothe !! Go polly time to dress ure dolly!!

Aside from the unnecessary racism, if they choose to buy 1 item or 1000 it's their choice. Don't like it - start queuing now.

it's ok as long as you aren't sucked into buying the **** made specifically for the sale or outlets. If you get this seasons stuff it's great.

I went to our big store last year and got so many great home bits (we had just moved into our first home) I got mirrors reduced from £45 to £7.50!!! Not to mention whole dinner sets for £9

I will be going but the online store was a joke this year.. loads on the preview.. then at the same time nothing all gone.

Nothing to do with using a race card.
I've experienced their rudeness and arrogance first hand at one of these sales.
You can't say nowt without some perpetually offended Guardian reader calling everyone a racist.

Can't believe people PAY for a sales book. Most Next stuff is tat, but somehow people have become obsessed with it.

The instore sale is an unpleasant experience. People with buggies pushing and shoving. It's like a big jumble sale with sweaty bodies everywhere.

can anyone tell me went DFS will be having their sale

Got a giftcard for next back in october from my parents for my 40th, still can't find anything worth buying. Popped in store for the first time ever to see if they can refund it or if they sold giftcards for other shops - both were a no (she didn't look impressed!!), was hoping to find something remotely worth buying in the sale online today but have given up already. Looks like it will gather dust a while longer.

I have a next account, don't pay for the catalogue but get a pre booked slot.
.I think it is because I opt in for offers and emails? Try that?

You have experienced 'their' rudeness. That's a generalisation about a group of people based on ethnicity=racism. You shouldn't be racist, but I expect it emanates naturally from Daily Mail readers...
