Be aware of Ryanair new policy of sitting your family away from each other so as to get you to book and pay extra for your seat they do not want people getting allocated seats together any longer do a google search on Ryanair new seating policy

You either put up with it, you pay the extra to get seats together or you swap seats with a passenger next you or a family member.

Isn't that the case with most rip offs doesn't make it any easier to swallow though does it and the comment was made to inform people of such greed and the underhanded way things like this happen, and there is such a thing as protest which in my recollection has changed many things throughout history so your statement is incorrect you don't have to put up with anything that's why we have such a thing as choice.
Flew with Ryanair last week. My fiancee and I booked together but were allocated seats with one being 12 rows behind the other despite the plane being around 2/3 full at the time and plenty of rows with 2 and 3 to choose from. Were told at check-in that we would have to pay extra to sit next to each other (we refused.) It was the principle rather than a "must sit together." Turned out that the plane wasn't full at all, lots of empty seats dotted about with people having a row of 3 all to themselves. Needless to say upon the seat belt sign going off half the passengers rejigged and swapped and all was fine.
Weasels for trying to bleed you dry after suckering you in with the initial "low fare" price. I realise it's a business but still!

Exactly. It's business. You're flying low cost, you paid for a flight from point A to point B. I don't get why some people still don't understand this concept. You booked together, but did you pay for a seat together? No? Then don't complain.
Maybe the cheap fares have gone.
Cheapest now is £36.99 outbounds
