Nextbase Nextbase 212 Exclusive Bundle

The Nextbase 212 Exclusive Bundle comes complete with a Dual USB Charger, Polarising Filter and Carry Case to meet all of your Dash Cam needs. The Nextbase 212 Dash Cam records in full 1080p HD at 30 frames per second to capture the road ahead in high definition, picking up important information including number plates, road markings and road signs, crucial in the event of an insurance claim. With the aid of a 6G glass lens and 140° wide viewing angle, the 212 will capture instant evidence on the microSD card (not supplied). The 212 uses a 2.7¿ LED screen for easy menu selection and playback on the Dash Cam. Footage can be played back on a PC/Mac using the Nextbase Replay 3 Playback Software, which has the functionality to play, edit and share footage on. The Click & Go Powered Magnetic Mount makes setup and installation easier than ever before, with power going straight to the mount rather than the Dash Cam, allowing the 212 to be free from wires. In the event of an accident, the internal G sensor will automatically protect footage and ensure it wont be overwritten. With its slimline design and easy mounting system, the 212 is the ideal Dash Cam solution for your vehicle. The bundle includes the following: Nextbase Dual USB Charger. This allows you to power multiple devices from one 12V car power socket, with two spare USB sockets meaning you can charge both your phone and Dash Cam at the same time. Nextbase Carry Case is included, with a soft surface and neoprene design protecting your Dash Cam when not in use. Polarising Filter can easily be fitted onto the lens of the 212 using a rotating bezel to dramatically reduce windscreen glare and reflection. It will enhance the contrast levels of the Dash Cam footage in order to capture important number plate details.

Thought this sounded a good deal for this bundle that's exclusive to very.
But I'm no expert so if I'm wrong I'm sure someone will advise me.

Not voting either way. For reference you can get this off Amazon with also includes 32gb card and hard wire kit for £65. I'd say it's better value.

However I wouldn't recommend nextbase. I think they're massively over priced.

I'd definitely recommend the 70mai pro. I got mine on offer for £35. Better spec than this camera and much more discrete.
The WiFi on the 70mai is a very handy feature. Download a video straight to your phone, no need to get the computer out and try to find the SD adapter.
Picture quality is top class, it's really impressed family. They said the picture quality is far better than the dash cams that cost them over 5 times the price of mine.

Note if you're car has sensors on the windscreen (usually for auto lights or wipers) then this Nextbase is unlikely to fit very well.

I'm originally from Yorkshire , now residing in the south.
At work you can tell from the northerner & southerners by the sandwich they buy
North: have yellow stickers on , them ( almost use by date reduced stock(.
Southerners with a posh Costa & M&S sandwich!!

Though good value not impressed with the 70mai based on this comparison test based on ability to make out number plates.

I'm very surprised with that comparison. Maybes he got a bad one or there's been an update since. I can clearly read number plates when passing other cars at 60mph (120mph combined)
38325075.jpg38325075.jpgEdit: HUKD seem to reduce image quality but you can still clearly make out the plate.

What firmware version do you have installed? As I saw a comment on a Youtube video that 1.0.5 lowered picture quality, but no idea if any truth to it.

Are your videos in H.265 or H.264?
