Why cold, peeps?

My guess would be you can buy 2 cameras for £30 each.
You'll also find that the rear facing camera is obscured by the internals of the car. So separate cameras would be better anyway.

Hmmm, firstly this is a deal based on what the product usually costs.

Secondly, this provides several advantages over two cheap cameras...

1] Only requires one power supply
2] Has GPS
3] Has zoom capability, so the internals of the car are NOT an issue
4] Is voted one of the best dual-cam in-car dash cams
Only seems to have horizontal movement, set one lens up for the correct exposure could upset the other one.

1) people defending their own deals and asking why cold after 20mins, doesn't usually end well.
2) GPS can be had on £50-£60 cameras
3) Zooming narrows the field of view so not as good.
4) Does zooming see through heads?
5) Multiple power points aren't expensive
6) Voted well doesn't make it better than alternative solutions.

Yes, it may be the best price for the product. However it's a solution to a problem that causes more issues. Which reduces it's value.
This seems to be the normal price on Amazon, I would wait and see if they do a deal tomorrow or Friday like they did this morning with the Transcend.

1] is a matter of opinion.
Fair enough, 2] is correct.
3] isn't an issue out of the back usually.
4] assumes you only consider the rear-facing camera to be used to look out of the rear window.
5] is a bit of a naive statement IMO. Sure, you could run wires all over your car, but some people want to connect to a fixed socket.
6] again, only your opinion.

Thanks for your input.

Fair enough, I just looked at the page for the first time and could see no indication there was any special deal. So we are currently at 20% off original RRP and as it's been out more than a year I would think there is still some room for manoeuvre so you never know. I haven't voted as it seems neither good nor bad at that price.
Now down to £154.90.
