Something different from me I've seen these dropping in a few places recently, now Maplin have them for £119 which is the cheapest + there's the free £10 voucher offer on at the moment.

£125-£150 elsewhere, but obviously no voucher to be had there.

GPS and WiFi technology
The Nextbase Rear-View Mirror Dash Cam has many useful features, which you can use to help pinpoint accurate information about your location, the route you took and also the time an incident occured. With its built-in GPS, you can provide key evidence for the police or for insurance claims. It also features built-in WiFi, which you can connect to your devices via the Cam Viewer app (available on Android and iOS). so you can easily share footage on social media or with the police.

Discreet and easy to use
This Nextbase Mirror Dash Cam attaches to most existing rear-view mirrors via its five suction cups. Alternatively, it can be mounted using its included mounting straps. It is easily powered through your cigarette lighter, with the included power cable. It even automatically switches on with the ignition, so there’s no need to worry about missing any footage because the camera is turned off.

Records clear high definition footage
This Nextbase Rear-View Mirror Dash Cam is ideal for keeping you safe in your car and pinpointing key information should you require accurate evidence. It records in crystal clear 1080p full HD while the GPS records location and speed information, and allows you to view your journey on a map. This Nextbase Dash Cam also has a hidden screen that is invisible when the camera is running, to avoid distractions, but can be used to alter camera settings and for playback of videos when it is not. It has the technology to record in both bright or low light ensuring you can be confident in your footage both day and night. You can even download footage quickly to your smartphone or tablet, so it’s ready to send to the police or to be shared on social media.

Stores important footage safely
Once you've bought a seperate microSD card, there’s no need to worry about losing your footage with this dash cam. The video it records is automatically split into sections on the camera, so that the older footage is recorded over first, to prevent you from running out of space. The G-sensor also automatically locks files, when it is triggered by an impact or sharp movement, to safeguard important files and ensure they are not being overwritten. Plus, with space to fit a seperate 128GB microSD, there's loads of room to store your footage.

Been eyeing this up for a while as I wanted something stealthy, although I can't seem to find very many reviews of it nor of the video quality. Worth the risk?

My only concern is the mounting to the screen. Currently my nextbase single camera falls off when the windscreen gets hot with the sun.

If I remember correctly, I think these also come with straps to attach to the interior mirror as well

I would buy 1,but,am more bothered about if some 1 nicks it, and I have to pay for my car window, plus cleaning all the glass up

Be careful with this, it may block your sun visors from coming down. Also some police might consider that "blocking the drivers sight"

I have this (not this model) but a very similar one (got mine from Tesco Garage) about 6 months ago for £29.99....! Great item.....mine has rubber straps on to attach it to my mirror (I'd agree those suckers wouldn't attach properly).....I've got a 32G mini sd in mine. I downloaded "a traffic incident" it recorded the other evening. Great quality even at night time. Mine also came with a rear view cam.

Are these a good idea, considering that the screen blocks a good proportion of the rear view mirror?
