Good deal.I've got these and they are excelent.Voted hot.

Hot! My friends have these and they are great.

Pretty good buy at £95, heat added, but anyone who paid £190 needs their head examined, quite frankly. RRPs and 'original price was' are utterly irrelevant and usually pure fabrication to make the item look cheap in comparison to the vastly over inflated price it is compared to.

Hot from me. Ordered

Does anyone know if this is similiar/same to the Click and Go system? If it is different what is the main difference. I have read the descriptions and am not sure what the main differences are?

I was tempted to see if this went to £89.99, but I've never seen it go to that before. Plumped for £94.99, as these are cracking units. Will be brilliant for our little one.

good price
res at 7 inch is pretty poor but its standard for these things.
imo best to convert dvds and use usb/sd -not sure how easy is to swap dvd in these.
these are not the same as the click and go - these strap onto the seat with velcro rather than a ncie smooth lock on click and go.

Does it have a USB slot (not mentioned) if so, will it play .avi files?

usb is mentioned in the description lower down.
says plays movies and assume will be divx type.
these are (not sure if always) interchangable with .avi but it may well be picky i dunno.

Thanks for that

It looks like both screens play the same film (ie. you cant have 2 kids watching 2 different films at the same time) have I understood this correctly?

I have the click and go versions... and they don't read anything past 4gb on the memory cards. I was racking my brain for ages trying to figure out why some files I had encoded worked, and others didn't. It seems that if the file is positioned more than 4gb from the start of the space (if that makes any sense?) then it doesn't work. I now have a load of 8gb SD cards, with only 4gb of movies on So be careful before splashing out for a 32gb USB stick.

the only extras over the Argos ones are region free and USB. cant play 2 different films at the same time, smaller screens, one headphones,( although the ones from Argos are cheap in-ear one! but are included!) only 1 power as apposed to 2 car lighter and 2 main from Argos. 2 remotes. Argos one are still available, which seems better, but am I missing something?

I can't comment on this particular item but we've had 2 of these kind of products and to be honest, they are more trouble than they are worth. You can either spend 10 minutes messing about with cables before you start your journey, or you can risk having your window stoved in by some scally who fancies helping himself after you left it on display.

And I'm as guilty of this as anyone, before someone calls me a hypocrite, I realised after I had bought it. But if my kids can't last 2 hours in the car on the way to the seaside without televisual entertainment, I reckon that makes me a pretty poor parent, well on the way to bringing up a couple of attention-deficit-disorder brats.

I got these 18mths or so ago when on similar offer. Great for the kids on hols. Ours have a slide on plastic mount that velcro's onto headrest (not sure if this is clik-and-go mentioned here).
We leave the mounts in car all the time and no probs (touch wood).
Ours came with slim remote, car charger, mains charger, AV cables. We have 1 master that plays DVD, one slave - maybe they have changed this in which case even better.
Slimline units work fine - better quality than cheap brands - well worth the money IMO
