From £360 if the Quidco pays out ok, for a decent 2015 flagship phone with vanilla Android and all the fastest updates for those of you who love that kind of thing. Link is for the refurb, for the brand new one use this link -

mobilephonesdirect.co.uk/bas…ry/

I would take a risk on the refurb personally because they are usually customer service returns from Mobile Phones Direct so you might well end up with something pretty much brand new.

I would be curious for any feedback regarding cold votes for this deal as I thought it seemed pretty decent for a year old flagship and usuable allowances.

I guess people are voting it cold because of the carrier and lack of expandable memory (although 32gb is ok for some others need more memory and do not want to have to rely on the Cloud/streaming).

Also I think it was the Nexus 6P that was the flagship phone.

Good phone though if the memory is enough.

Top phone, I have the 5x 16gb version running the latest android. Smooth and fast.

I've 16GB running 7.1.1 no issues.
Very happy esp paid £130 with CPW. That WAS a HOT deal

Heat from me although I'm not tempted.

The 32GB is the minimum storage IMO, the good upgrade schedules for the Nexus handsets is another good reason to go for this.

If I could have had this 12 months ago, I'd probably have jumped at it tho

For the 32gb this is the best deal for a while, and the 5x is still a great choice at this size

Ok great thanks for the feedback, it seems mainly positive so I guess the cold voters are just grumpy on a Monday

I guess it's because the phone has sold for £120 to around £200 before.

I didn't ever see the 32GB at that price!

Could I upgrade the deal with Talkmobile for more data?

This may be a good deal for some people. But be reminded this phone was available last year Black Friday for £159 through carphone warehouse
