I'm still wondering whether this was a eu model

I got one with a UK plug. Not that it matters since H1512 is the "international" model sold everywhere but the US.

was it from highend electronics?

Many thanks OP, I went ahead with the deal and received my Nexus 6P today it came with a UK plug and as far as I can tell a UK and Ireland warranty booklet with a 24 months guarantee.

It has had many updates throughout this afternoon including the last one which was Android 7.0 Nougat. from the limited time Iv'e had to play with it I am very impressed.

carlosramdango, thanks for the update. Not completely sure if ok when posting it, but being via Amazon I guess it was fine.

Not available at this price any more, so I'd suggest the very well-specced OnePlus 3 (£336 unlocked if you're not a student):

OnePlus 3 £312.40 to Students available in store at O2 from Thursday

It has one of the most powerful CPUs at the moment (SD 820) with 64Gb internal storage & 6Gb RAM - so double the 6P.

I had a OPX, other than the battery life, I love it. So the OP3 or the Nexus 6p will be the phone I get, depending on Black Friday activity

what i dont get is why the 6p is still so expensive

That is true - people should stop buying them at these prices, then perhaps they'll be forced to lower them further.

Available new for £349 delivered from eBay (France), but not sure how the supposed 1-year warranty with the seller (who could be here today & gone tomorrow) will work.

Can also get it for ~£315 delivered from the Far East, but I don't know who would want to take the risk.

Very true, especially now that the Pixel phones are out. Same with the Nexus 5x, cheapest I've seen it is £199 @ Argos which is ridiculous.

Because it's discontinued. Supply and demand.
