The price is lower than anywhere I could find except one website? Is it a mistake or not it looks like a great deal to me. And from a reputable shop ?

If the link doesn't work then just search for Nexus 6P, choose silver and 64GB in the SIM FREE option.

Good price for this phone, but the OnePlus 3 is just £309.

Perhaps the price is coming down based on expectations of a new nexus??

Yeah, that's what I expect. Should be HTC making the next one.

For starts the 6P has a much higher resolution (which is one of the most important things), and the OnePlus 3 doesn't even have an sd card slot (which is a sin in itself). Your priorities are slightly different to mine. I'm happy trade off better performance and battery life for a lower PPI. If you're using VR I concede the higher PPI is essential. For me, 64 GB will be plenty without an SD card.

Lol - CPW has a reputation all-right.

I was unaware the 6P had an sd card slot.
Ordered! Thanks

The Nexus range doesn't have an SD card either though (I'm sure you know that), but I wouldn't do without a card either. I switched to a Galaxy S7 after many years having an iPhone back to the original one but finally had enough of Apple's BS and haven't looked back

what's 'Apple's BS', out of interest? I hear this sort of comment a lot but I use iPhones on and off (now on a G5) and I never experience any 'BS' from them - not more than from any other manufacturers anyway. In fact I've had a lot of BS from Samsung tablets, which Samsung seem to give up updating quite quickly, even if they're expensive ones like the Tab Pro. It's a different OS so you obviously have to do things differently - such as no file management - is that the BS aspect?
Heat added.

The bs I had was a iPhone under warranty and they wouldn't replace it saying the warranty I got from them didn't Cover technical issues. And quoted me £265 to repair it. Even tho it was under a year old.
It might be cheaper than anywhere else but it still feels expensive for last year's phone. What will the price be in 2 months when a new nexus is announced? I bought the 2014 Nexus 6 last September for <£200.

Not going to vote cold but if I was in the market for a phone this probably wouldn't tempt me. As it is my old nexus 6 is still doing great
Decent phone although lack of an SD card slot and no OIS ruins it a bit.

Actually the Nexus doesn't support sd cards either, just a heads up.
give it another half a year, it'll be half the price.
I guess if you always stick to one year old nexus, you could always get the latest software with mainstream hardware at the cost of 200ish, if not cheaper.
cheers, ordered. My g4 just died - the infamous bootloop -_-

... cheaper than elsewhere..

I think you have got the hang of things!
Is this friends?
good price! paid the same but 32gb
Generally great phone. I was looking for a new mobile phone for my wife to upgrade the old Nexus 4. Finally I ordered OnePlus 3. It is not a Nexus phone buy much cheaper, better specced and still good user experience.
Superb phone at an excellent price. No ifs, no buts, no maybes ... this is a hot deal. End of.
Had a 6P since launch - best phone I've owned.
If you're sitting on the fence, get off because this is an awesome phone.
Gonna go view one instore tomorrow. Not sure If I can get on with a phone that size.
Plus I have been slating my mate for the size of his Iphone 6 Plus since he got it

If possible, give the Moto X 2014 a look. Equal to the 6p in almost every way barring the camera, but the size and design of the Moto X 2014 a lot more practical.

Could you go into more detail as to the technical issue? That seems strange to me as I've always had exemplary service from Apple - in fact only a couple of months ago they swapped a 6S out for me that had a software issue, no trouble at all. I'd be surprised if you'd get any less 'BS' after-sales support on a product from any Android manufacturer - e.g last time I had an LG broke it was a nightmare getting it repaired as I didn't have the original receipt - had to contact the original owner to get them to send me a copy; and the Sony Z2 I had broke internally, through no fault of my own (or certainly none that I was aware of!) and Sony charged me £120 to fix it. I didn't have any recourse as I'd sent it off, so they would have charged just to return it!

I suppose the difference is expectation from Apples front loaded purchase prices.
definitely the best phone I've had. use to have all the flagship Samsung phones and the annoying thing was as soon as the contract starts to come to an end, things always started to go wrong with them without fail. they both would restart randomly, internet issues, freezing etc.
got so annoyed I wanted to try something else do went for this and glad I did. it's s solid phone!

I think a new Nexus device is coming soon possibly why it's lowering now so would personally wait for it to drop even more if you can hold out.

Again though, isn't that a bit of a misnomer? My first S7 Edge cost £639, which was more than my 6S, and I'm pretty sure if I'd had any issues with it I'd have done well to get a better level of service.

Remember the price also relates to the hardware. Whats the Edge storage/ram in comparison for example?

I don't compare things like that, personally, as I don't look at specs: I look at user experience. No point crying over 2GB of RAM if it makes absolutely no difference whatsoever. Remember these are two different platforms that handle memory in completely different ways. As for storage, my 6S was 64GB. I don't like using memory cards as they seem to fail on me a lot; though I have one in my G5 - it's my second this year as the last one - a 100% legit Sandisk - suddenly wouldn't write anymore, and couldn't be formatted so I couldn't even return it!

Having said that what I said about RAM, I don't really noticed the difference between my Z5 Compact (with 2GB of RAM) and the G5 (with 4GB) in day-to-day use. Maybe I'm just not geeky enough.

As for this deal, really tempting as I love the look of the 6P. I'm finding the G5 a bit big though, so it's probably a bit too much for me to handle. Weird as I used to much prefer bigger phones - I was the guy getting the **** taken out of him when the first Galaxy Note came out. Funny that now it doesn't look huge, just wide.
Can anybody confirm what the picture quality is like from the camera?

Was about to order the Oneplus 3 but not many positive reviews on the camera

Apple's overwhelming sense of arrogance and smugness when you step foot in their stores, the fact that they cannot possibly see why you would not worship the ground their geniuses walk on (when they are just slightly elevated floor staff), their concentration camp factories in China, the fact that they are failing to innovate and regurgitating the same stuff each year with minor updates (oh wow, 3D touch!!!) and finally that, yes, they do 'support' older devices but they actually cripple them with the final update to the point where you are almost forced to upgrade in sheer frustration (e.g. iPhone 4 on iOS 7, iPhone 4S/iPad 2/mini 1 on iOS 9). EDIT: and the price, as you mentioned (though I don't mind paying for a premium experience).

So rather than just sit and take it, I voted with my feet and this is one of those rare, grass really is greener on the other side moments. I won't lie, I still use my iPad Air 2, it is a good tablet but for freedom I will have Android and Windows.

You seem very angry about Apple - have you had a bad experience with them? I've had a few issues with hardware in the past but they've always sorted it, no problem. I guess people's experiences differ.

As for the 'arrogance and smugness when you step foot in their doors'...that's just a U.S. way of selling things to me - very upbeat, everything very organised and 'clean'. It's hard to say what the experience would be like with any other manufacturer as they don't really have a high street presence; but personally I'd rather go to *any* store than send my phone off for repair - even if they do seem gratingly happy.

The China factory thing applies to every manufacturer apart from Samsung (theirs are made in Korea I think), it just happens that Apple have to make a lot more phones than most of the other manufacturers. Innovation is hard to do at this point in smartphones - no one is really innovating; it's all just iteration (is the edge on the S7 Edge particularly game-changing?).

Not sure how you're voting with your feet really, since no manufacturer is a charity: they're all in it for the money, and none of the Android manufacturers have particularly great after-sales service when you get a fault - they all just farm off their repairs to companies like Regenersis, so the experience can be hit and miss.

Looks pretty decent from what I've seen. They've also added SRGB mode to the screen display in the latest update, so if you don't like your AMOLEDs garish you can now tone them down a bit.

Well at least some have faith to offer a 2 year warranty.(One reason why I have stuck with HTC) I was astounded to hear Apple was only 1 year in the UK.
To be clear I don't care what people buy.
I just baulk at the specs/warranty offered by Apple with their yearly polish of specs and price increases.

The S7 was an evolution, listening to the customers - hey, you want waterproofing and memory card back from the S5? You got it. Slightly thicker phone for better battery, we're not afraid to do that either?

Yes I had a bad experience with Apple on a number of occasions but I'd been with them since the start so I think I'm in a good position to be as objective as I can.

I say vote with my feet - there are people who complain about a company but continue to use them, not me. Also part of our business is selling handsets, being seen with a non-Apple device is very telling to the customers.
