Awww.. thanks. Bought it for £149 from argos during black friday.
Remember lots of comments about 2 different versions(older with some issues and newer) when argos deal was posted at £149...
Great tablet. Use it everyday. Front of the queue for android updates (currently running 6.0.1 Marshmallow), superfast performance, great screen quality and twin front facing speakers. Got to say that 16gb ram is tight but OTG works flawlessly for accessing/streaming additional storage. I've tried more than a few tablets and this is up there with the best.

Showing the 32GB version at £199.97. Don't know about the stock position but that's the one i'd recommend if you can stretch. to it. Games and media apps quickly use up the storage. e.g the Times newspaper app takes up over 2GB unless you frequently clear the cache.
32GB version showing out of stock at the moment. If this comes back in I'll be on it in an instant. I hope.
Which store was this deal in??
Didn't see any on display at all in lakeside
What store
Good price but definitely go for 32gb if you can get/afford one. 16gb would be fine if you just want it for email and general browsing.

Nb Google have brought out the pixel C as the premium tablet offering, but the nexus 9 hasn't been discontinued or 'phased' out, not yet anyways...

On The Go works with Nexus 9, so you can get away with a 16gb.
Just got one at lakeside last one

Argos have no stock anywhere of any nexus 9 except the £4xx 3G version. bummer.
Local Currys sale bin
John Lewis have these too at this price. And I know alot of you prefer them. Well the one in purley way Croydon did, but I don't how many, if any, we're in stock.
Not being colourist, but wasn't there an issue with the white 16gb ones ?

I think screen issues, etc, when Argos had em for £159.99. Which are now £179.99.

Not trying to scare monger, but trying to kill pain.

I'm confused!
If this was an apple product it would have been 2000 heat by now like the year old iPhone going for 600 quid oO

Chrome and Android are 2 separate divisions within Google, next version of Android is rumoured to bring both together.

I just knew that was coming. However it's still a bit like saying the people at Ipod are working with Macbook on a new tablet for Apple.

Not really, Pixel is actually built by Google, its the 1st 'Nexus' device to be so - Nexus 9 is a HTC tablet

I had a black one from argos on black Friday. Updated it to the latest version of Android and the battery performance was awful. Very slow to charge , and quick to discharge.
Other than that, a pretty good tablet.
Not bad.. But an iPad is better!!!!

Had the opposite with the 3 I bought when eBay/Paypal had that £40 off voucher just before Black Friday.

slow and pretty poor on Lollipop, excellent on Marshmallow.

Slow charging is because the HTC charge is 1.5a and it's a big battery, Samsung, iPad etc are all 2a or greater.

Out of interest, can anyone think of any examples in which that has worked out well, historically?

Historically, people tried to shoehorn their desktop OS to work in resource constrained devices.
The Chrome/Android merge will never happen. The best you can hope for is Android apps running in sandboxes on a Chrome device.
Of course, there is nothing to stop Google running a full blown Android on a Chromebook. A simple extension to jide.com/en/…-pc would be ideal.

Decent device for the money, but a little long in the tooth now.

Why would you limit yourself with an iPad, get a Surface, their the best.

red hot deal. But for me the lack of a SD card slot is a deal breaker. 16gb is too small.
