Does this exclude Firemen/Women? As they would surely be red light?

Why would it exclude firefighters.. They are also eligible for a blue light card

The fire service can sign up to the blue light card service. It applies to the emergency services, NHS and armed forces (a line from the card itself).

I can't say I've ever seen a red light on a fire appliance other than the brakes? Just saying
Lol. I was being silly on purpose

I'm not sure you understand the concept of jokes.

To be fair I read it and thought he was jocking then laughed at all the serious replies

i hate some of these false advertiser companies. Last month they advertised two weeks free coffee and two days later this was tge sign board. Why offer when you can’t do it. And it was at a hospital costa shop. They earn millions and can’t honour their offer to NHS hero’s

They stopped it because apparently it was hard to follow social distancing with the offer. Instead they gave 100000s of canned drinks for free (cynically I suspect since it is a new product, Coke wanted to advertise it).

Well the wife leaves her red light,on top of the electric fire, infront of the window, when she's working!
According to the map,the closest one to me is 98 miles away 😩😩

I saw it as a joke. Sadly on here, and any other messaging platform involving our fellow earthlings... there are literally hundreds of plonkers looking to have a dig, who think they are a higher level of intelligence than everyone else on the planet. I love this site but why on Earth would anyone ever post anything? You could post a solid gold egg for sale for £5 and someone would say; "Cold. I don't like Gold". "Too Gold for my liking". What a sad world we live in, there are too many arrogant mood hoovers around for my liking.

Lol. Awesome. 100% agree. People often fail to read between the lines.

Lol. Thank you. It was s simple joke about fire engines being red. You usually get the red line blue line divide between police and firefighters. Obviously NHS (paramedics) usually being green. But it went over most people's heads. Whoosh.

I wish an NHS worker, particularly nurse/doctor could reply to such accusations on here and on social media.
In the videos I've seen, it appears most are not NHS staff, but looks like private clinics / private hospitals in US.

Regardless, someone in my family is a doctor abroad in the middle east, and he mentions they're inundated and never seen so many sick patients. He hasn't been able to go home for a month now - sleeping for 3/4 hours at a time in various corners of the hospital.

I know more and more people are turning against the NHS (Cumming's plan), but I hope you realise that just to have a baby, even with insurance, it would cost thousands. In US, a normal delivery costs at least $15,000 - some paid by insurance, other hundreds/thousands paid by the new parents.

Please treasure the NHS, once it's gone/privatised, you would hesitate to visit even GP at the risk of your premium going up!

Your joke didn't go over people's heads mate - it was just garbage and lacked any kind of sophistication or wit. Like a really, really low level dad joke. Your explanation did nothing for the failed joke's credentials.
