This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust is inviting all NHS staff, workers from the care sector and those with the emergency services to its newly reopened sites each afternoon next week as a sign of its gratitude.

Each worker will be able to bring up to three guests from their household who will all gain free entry at either the 3pm or 4pm entry times.

Trust chief executive Nick Ralls stated "There is no way that the country can ever properly say thank you to all those who carried on working on our behalf during the pandemic, often placing themselves in direct contact with the virus to try to keep us all safe.

“But we thought we could show our appreciation by inviting these heroes to come and spend some time with us for free and catch up on some much needed family time. They don’t need to be from Telford or Shropshire – we just want to say thank you to as many as possible.

“The offer runs all week from July 22 to 26 and all we ask is that qualifying workers book to arrive at either 3pm or 4pm and bring a work ID card with them to show when they arrive. They can bring along three people who live with them in the same house.

A nice gesture, although it concerns me how many people are talking like it's over. The wording "those who carried on working on our behalf during the pandemic" makes it sound like there aren't thousands of workers still battling to save people's lives.

All the tickets appear to be free because the booking page is for people who already hold valid tickets/annual passes + NHS at the times stated (3pm/4pm entry). If you turn up with a pre-booked 2pm slot you will be asked for your ticket/annual pass or asked to pay.

All slots gone
I would thoroughly recommend Blists Hill Victorian Village to any visitor and strongly recommend anyone visit the onsite bakery for some treats. Telford sadly gets a wrongful stereotype...treat the shopping centre itself as the faceless 'hub' that it is (but still fairly good for shopping, and a fantastic park) and then admire the surrounding beauty of many a Shropshire village and town.

Agreed, If you're visiting North Shropshire its one of the best places to go
Pic I took there last year - who'd have thought the Victorians would be ahead of the game when it came to Face-Masks & Sanitizer Guns!

Great picture Thanks for sharing.
Wonder if NHS staff can do all this free stuff, so much to do!
Should be free all July. ..
NHS workers need investment in their places of work... not free stuff

I'm sure the workers who would take advantage of this offer are well aware of that
