Already ordered, even cheaper with silver or gold account!
As someone who got the wizards edition I think the obscene price for this is born out of the rarity of the other, every retailer seems to have stock of this thing
Finally a PAL edition which is better than the US :). think its £142 with gold membership
Are these a limited run in the UK?

Wondering if try worth waiting like i did with the wizard edition.. managed to get that on eBay for a reasonable price.

I think for this one the price isn't actually all that awful. I got the Wizards Edition of the first too and it didn't come with much (although the book was fantastic and the plushy is a bit cute) but to breakdown this one with rough estimations of what they'd cost from a retailer as merchandise:

Game: £48
Music box: £30/£40? (Depends how well made it is.)
Art book: £20
Vinyl (w/ pop-up sleeve): £25
Steelbook: £10
Making of: £5
Season Pass: £20-£30

Total: £158 (based on lower estimation an not including a value for the box)

There do seem to be more of these ones about. Interestingly though Amazon have already ran out of their first batch for PS4.
Amazon had it for 139.99£ yesterday, and Bandai Namco also confirmed that will be the price. I don't know why GAME and Shopto have higher price than RPP

Because some people will pay it. A fool and his money are easily parted

It just seems like alot of tat to me for a high price, the vinyl is something only a few can use and isn't even a full ost anyway, a vinyl of the main theme tune and making of bluray feels like left over promo items for journalists, steel books and art books are ten a penny and a big old music box is just something that'll sit in a cupboard.

The book of the first one was wonderful as it was beautifully done and actually relevant to the story, you could learn the language of the sages with it etc, it was a real integrated part, i paid £54 for it and given the game was probably like £39.99 on its on i think £15 for a wonderful useful book and a toy that's still sealed was good.

So many games have CEs now days I'm sure I'm far from being the only one with a cupboard full of em, £140 is getting into the realms of the cost of a whole console.

Actually come to think of it, i remember getting Tales Of Symphonia PS3 CE and being really annoying and shouting on their forum about it because the DLC it was spost to come with turned into a GAME exclusive and was removed from everyone elses orders, the OST turned out to be part of the soundtrack not full and it was in a digital format for PC so didnt work on a CD player and it was inside the game box instead of having its own box, the original novel turned out to be tiny and written in large print to look bigger then it was and had like two manga pictures at the start probably to make it look good in photos. I felt well ripped off i think it was like £80 and wasn't worth the extra for the set of little figures. (poo).

I forgot all about that, consigned the thing to the cupboard.
