Bargain, got it on pre-order for £10 more at Amazon, not not sure whether to cancel or not

Nice deal. Does GraingerGames charge immediately or on dispatch?
If I had a PS4 I’d be all over that. Nice looking collectors edition indeedy.
That's a lot of dough, but it does look like a nice collectors piece.
Anyone this edition will become rare?

I thinks it staright away because they charged me last year fo Injustcie 2 when they had a pricing error.

I think it potentially could be. I'm not risking the outlay to keep one sealed though. Going to buy for myself and if it goes up it goes up.
Screw it, cancelling amazon order for this... can always send back as used PayPal.
Money taken straight away FYI
People saying "bargain", please tell me you're kidding...

Here we go... simple.. can you buy it cheaper? No? Be silent then.... not asking if you like the game... or if you “feel” it’s worth it...
This is £45 cheaper than GAME.

Pretty sure EVERYTHING is about £45 cheaper than GAME try to sell at
grainger will probably unbox them and put them in display cabinets and sell them "new"
Thanks cancelled my base order for this.

Must admit I am a little skeptic about them at the moment..it’s why I paid with PayPal, if it goes wrong I will just return it for free...
Think for the fact that base charge on dispatch and horror stories of opened games sold as new from grainger, I'm going to stick to my base preorder for the sake of 15 quid. If it arrives open I'd pay 15 quid to post it back.
Would amazon price match this or do they only do it to stuff that only been released not pre orders
It's a good deal, but ultimately this is a collectors piece, so if you're a collector you'll buy this sealed and let it sit in a corner of your and then buy the standard edition or download it from PSN to actually play it (yes, paying twice for the same game is the exact sort of craziness collectors do, and the gaming industry loves it as it boosts the heck out of sales and therefore profits)

Anyway, Grainger has a reputation for opening games/unsealing them and then selling them as new, now whilst it is technically new, its not guaranteed to be sealed new. That makes them a non-starter for a piece like this, because a collector wants their fancy edition with all the swag to arrive completely sealed and undamaged so that it looks good as a museum piece, or so that if they choose to sell it in a number of years its immaculate condition will allow them to command top dollar.

Diehard fans of the franchise (not collectors) are the only ones who actually buy an edition like this with the intent of opening it, checking out the included extras and playing the included game. (Collectors play the standard edition, or even the download so they can keep the standard sealed too - guess it depends on how hardcore and wealthy a collector you are. Some collectors don't mind collecting things non-sealed, but now I'm digressing too much.)

It's a great price if you're willing to risk it not being sealed, or if you just want it new but plan to open it yourself, but if you're a collector and want a sealed piece, don't get it from Grainger because you're playing the lottery - look elsewhere.

Currently unavailable on amazon uk as far as I can see. This is a GREAT deal. I have been considering buying this from Base at £133 but had to pull the trigger for £115 a MUCH more reasonable price. Never heard of grainger games and dunno why they'd be opening brand new boxes of the collectors edition given that they are delivered day of release? Their trust pilot score is low but forgivable as its mostly in store issues, paid with paypal for the extra security just in case. REALLY looking forward to this now, especially the vinyl - looks amazing!

They fulfil online orders by emailing their retail stores and asking them to send the stock to the warehouse for their online store. The online store doesn't have its own stock distinct from the retail stores. They've had problems in the past with stock because by the time they'd emailed a store asking for them to send stock, the store had already sold it and so the online customer got screwed with an unfulfilled order.

They do not have a good business infrastructure for their stock. If they did, I'd be inclined to agree with you, as not being in store means it would have zero chance of being opened. However, as far as I know, these will come from a store.

I actually want to be wrong about this as I'd love to save some money, but alas..

Nice!! Heat from me. Sticking with my Amazon order though.
Emailed Grainger Games to confirm the copy would be sealed, had the following reply;

“All new releases are sent out factory sealed providing they were order in plenty of time before the release date, like yours has been“

Amazon will be more reliable than grainger, I'm on the same boat but deciding to stick.
Do granger take cash now or on dispatching?

Now, I cancelled amazon, I will take the risk

They take the money as soon as you order rather than on dispatch. So your £115 will vanish right away, but you won't get the game for 2 weeks.

I don’t know for Amazon, but for those who have pre-ordered at Base, they have price matched at 119£!
Be careful, now they are back to original price.

Not exactly perfect but I've placed an order with Base now too given the uncertainty suddenly swirling around Grainger
Has anyone had a dispatch email? I haven't got one yet.

No, nothing yet. I'm not optimistic tbh

Nope nothing yet, give it a day or so then maybe order from somewhere else. Lots of stock about so not sure this will be a sell out like the 1st wizard edition
Any one recieved this yet??
Nope! Haven't received mine yet. I'm livid as It's meant to come today. Mine still says processing on my orders. I'm not happy. This Is my first order from them and I probably won't be shopping here again.

Same here.. 1st time ordered tried calling them but no one answers.. No reply back on social media or there email... Really annoyed
Same as above. Looks like the are trying to rinse customers of their cash before they go into administration. Looks like the trustpilot bad reviews are correct. Livid.
I've passed all the information I've got myself and seen here and on Twitter/Facebook to a journalist at Eurogamer, where I first saw the story about Grainger potentially going into administration so at the very least they should be able to get some information out of them.

At present though it certainly does look they've not got the stock for this and have no intention of refunding anyone before they go belly up. If you paid by Credit Card then I'd be getting in touch with your banks dispute team to find out thier proceedure.
