When did this remaster happen and how did I miss it? One of my favourite games of all time. Platinum on PS3. I will definitely be picking this up at some point in an attempt to hammer the sequel out of my memory.

It sort of came out of nowhere if I remember right. It was reported one month and came out not long after. I got the plat on PS3 too and loved every minute of it. Regarding the sequel, I can't remember the last time I was so disappointed in a game!
Heat!! Dropping nicely, though too engrossed in trails of cold steel at the momemt

Ni No Kuni is one of my favourite ever jrpgs, I love the old school turn based games, FF7, DQ8 & 11. How does Cold Steel fair compared to Kuni? Is the combat similar or if not is it enjoyable? Would you recommend it to me as someone who loves the above mentioned games?

I love ni no kuni, its my top 3 all time best JRPGS! I was new to the trials of cold steel series and i love it, fantastic character and story building, battle systems are a joy and very tactic, there is so much depth in the world building. I would 100% recommend this series. There is alot of dialog but the voice acting is great also. I recommend

I'll give it a go but looks the psn store is the cheapest price £35. Thought it may be a tad cheaper than that!

Yeah I found the first game has gone up in price, not sure if this is due to a limited print of the games. I bought the 1st one for 22 but sold it for 33, I then bought the limited collectors edition from the marvellous store for 34 when on sale. The steeelbook is awesome

Are there any deals/pricecuts around for the Switch version?

Otherwise I'm going to have to try and pick up a cheap PS4 for this and the sequel.
Its 24.85 here but still cheapest for physical copy.
