Farm Foods do these at £3.99 so works out to just under £16 for 72
Home Bargain have them for 3.99 as well
Seems expensive for £16 worth of bum fodder
My farmfiods usually have these 3 packs for £10 so even cheaper.
I don't know where to store these when London space in flatsor Poole is costly
No way this is a deal. As stated above much cheaper elsewhere
Been buying these for years at £3.99 for 18.

I might be imagining it but does anybody else think the quality is sliding?

It doesn't feel as soft as it used to be and I'm a little suspicious as to how they've held that price for so many years.

I'm going to start looking for an alternative soon.

Even if you dont its still not a good deal, Home Bargains also same price and some independant shops , sorry its not a good deal at £26
Yes, Home Bargains £2 for a Pack of 9 multiplied by 8 = 72 rolls for £16; Look the same ?

It's hard to know what to post on this site. You don't make it easy for new posters. When I'm paying £5 for 9 toilet rolls, £26 for 72 is a deal to me. I'm not fortunate enough to live near these shops. I just thought it would help someone. I'm not sure how to delete my posts, if someone can help?
You have definitely hit a bum note with this one Mrs grump

No, don't give up Mrs grump. It's a decent offer, just not many toilet roll postings go hot.
I applaud you for trying, and don't take any notice of people. Just people like to wind people up, but please don't give up, I've had many poor deals posted and got lots of grief for it, it's just part and parcel of hukd.
This one was not a winner but please don't give up posting. At least I learnt which shops to go to for these from other comments.

I can't be doing with it. Why don't they have it so people can add heat to the good deals. If people don't think a deal is good, they just don't give heat. So no down voting. It's too much having constant notifications letting you know how your deal isn't any good. I appreciate the kind words ladies, thank you. But it's not a site for me

I don't even know what it means when a deal "goes hot"!

Over 100 + votes makes your deal go hot. Don't let this put you off though.

The Aldi ones (18) in the brown and white(!) packaging are good, around £3.89 I think.

Because a bad deal deserves to be dismissed and down voted so can be ignored by other users easily. In my opinion you should appreciate the helpful comments informing you its bad, you've been given food for thought of what as a community we get hold of these or comparable toilet rolls for. Why is this not a positive?

Haven't bought a new batch for a while as I tend to buy in bulk from Groupon when they have offers, but I'm sure I read somewhere that the roll size (sheets per roll) had went down slightly.

Edit: Did a bit of digging. This post from qyestionmark in August 2015 hotukdeals.com/com…525 says,

Nicky Elite used to be 180 sheets per roll but I recently noticed the size of the cardboard roll has become bigger. There is no number of sheets printed on the packs but the roll length is shorter than it used to be. Anyone know how many sheets on a new roll? It's probably still the best quality/value loo roll around but it's yet another example of shrinkflation!

I last bought Nicky Elite in bulk from Groupon maybe about two years ago, so not sure if the info on my pack is up to date, but mines say "170 Sheets, Average Roll Length 21.25m, Average Total Area 21m²" on the packet.
