Limited range but useful night vision at a good price. Amazon comparable sets are £119.99. Nowhere near gen 2+ and they use active infra red so rain/mist will reduce viewable distance. The benefit is you could potentially add a filter to a more powerful torch to increase the range. Worried that the light bleed will reflect off your face? Use a pop sock to cover the eye piece.

Ive been looking for a night vision set. What puts me off is the 3x zoom on it. When I'm hiding in the dark i like to be close enough to reach out and stroke there face.

Are these light enough to hold with one hand?

I would also like to know the answer to this.

Also, does it have image stabilisation?
Who'd use these apart from poachers and very shy doggers?

Exactly what I was just thinking, unless your a peeping tom or want to hunt wild boar at night why would you want them?

All the gear, no idea.
Am disappoint. OP put up a good pitch, including spelling mistake ('there').

If this were a deal about felling axes or 145L storage boxes, or leather gloves, this thread would be alive with banter. Like the good old days.

Edit: OP has done a substantial edit, but my argument remains.

Ah it's you. The 2nd thread and post you have quoted me.
More idea than you will ever have my friend.
So get back into your hole and perhaps recoil off this mortal realm.

There are places where you could tick both those boxes, if you're not fussy

I've known people buy boots and clothing gear in the Army, I've never known anyone to buy tactical night vision. If its needed it gets supplied, and it will be much better than this.

And yes I've done the Army (Regs) and the TA thing myself.

So please remind me of the other post which I've quoted you, as I don't recognise your name?

Shame there isnt some sort of recording to sd on it so you could capture night video either of wildlife or criminals in your area.
I remember Gen 3 night vision came out over 15 years ago.

Apologies, it was late and on reflection I didn't think I was as funny as I thought I was.....
